This was one of our family’s favorite stays ever for a vacation spot! We have two teenage boys and we booked them their own room next to our larger room. The fireplace, stocked kitchen, and river view deck with hot tub were so comfortable and spacious. Mike was very helpful and friendly. It was such a relaxing place to unwind during our outdoor adventure vacation.

This place is an absolute gem! Michael is so nice and the accommodations are wonderful! We stayed here with our 1 year old in the seahawk room and had the best time. The room was spacious and clean. The view and the sounds of the birds were so relaxing, not to mention the jacuzzi! Highly recommend!

Property is very pretty and quiet. |Room was clean but missing amenities like creamer for coffee, shampoo, conditioner etc.. Staff friendly but not very helpful. Do not book room 8 since you will have a view of a carport with a boat instead of a creek. In fairness you can hear creek. Other rooms seem to have nice river views. Place was empty. We were only ones here.

We loved this lodge. We were on a road trip up to Bandon and wanted to explore the coast along the way. Our room was huge and nicely furnished with a cozy fireplace. Our deck had a perfect view of the river and we spent hours a day relaxing on the deck. The stars at night were spectacular. The location was convenient, just a 10 minute drive into town to grab coffee and breakfast and explore. This is one of the most relaxing places I have stayed at in a long time and would happily return and recommend.

Love, love, love this place!! Right on a bend on the Rogue River, but ya still get the ocean breeze and clean ocean air! You can sit out on your own deck, with a few having hot tubs, and watch the river otters, osprey catching their supper, foxes and sweet baby chipmunks come acalling!! The rooms are immaculate and kitchen well stocked! Nice big TV with plenty of channels, if that's important to you! The manager and staff are fantastic and very helpful !! Can't say enough about this place!! I'm definitely coming back!! ❤️👍

I could not be happier or more relieved that my (then) fiance and I found Rogue River Lodge at Snag Patch during a trip to Gold Beach for a wedding last July. ||||We had originally booked at another hotel in Gold Beach on the ocean, and about a week before our trip, I read reviews/saw pictures of the place we had originally booked at that included mold, stains, saggy mattresses, and went into pure panic mode to find a new place to stay.||||Rogue River Lodge is such a gem - it is probably the cleanest place we've ever stayed. ||||We booked at the Seahawk Room, which is a suite with a queen bed and hot tub overlooking the river, with the most incredible views of the Rogue River from the back deck (which also has two chairs, in addition to the hot tub). We were able to use the hot tub and back deck for a few hours in between activities, but I so wish we had more time to fully enjoy it, because it was SUCH a treat. ||||Everything is immaculate, there are plenty of towels in the bathroom, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The kitchen with mini fridge was another great addition to have, as well as the full array of plates/glasses/wine glasses, that you wouldn't necessarily find in a hotel room. ||||Each room has a guestbook that is filled with warm memories of stays at the Lodge, so our experience was not unique - this seems to be the recurring theme of this wonderful place.||||Not only is the room absolutely amazing, but the staff is also incredible. We were lucky enough to meet Mike and Becky, who were more than accommodating about a slight mix-up my hsuband and I had regarding our room. Mike has basically the entire state of Oregon memorized, and can give directions without a GPS. He was so helpful in not only giving directions, but also recommendations of things to do - I think we'd need another week at LEAST to hit upon a good majority of the suggestions he offered up. ||||Breakfast is included with your stay, and if you're lucky enough, you'll get time to chat with Becky and Mike while you eat. The camaraderie and warmth is something that we don't often get in New Jersey, so it meant a lot to both my fiance and I. We came after a rainstorm, but if we hadn't, we probably would have taken advantage of the deck off of the main office area, which was huge and overlooked the river and beautiful flowers. ||||We will absolutely be back to Rogue River Lodge at Snag Patch, not just for the beautiful rooms, and to lounge in the hot tub, but also for more conversations with the wonderful staff. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

This was simply lovely! Off season visit left us tons of privacy. Manager made sure the hot tub was warmed up for us before we arrived. The place wad clean and warm, stocked with basic bathroom and kitchen needs. Very welcoming and comfy decor and furnishings. Grey fuzzy blanket in the Solitude room was magical for snuggling on the couch watching a little TV. Highly recommend!

Lovely spot, especially if the front shared patio and lodge kitchen were usable. Disgusting and filthy. No one takes out the garbage or cleans the shared kitchen. No one gets your garbage from your room and you are basically alone. My room was clean when I arrived. For the money for a small room, I would have stayed somewhere with some amenities and helpful staff. Even though the resort was almost empty, I was given the least desirable room in my category. Next trip I will find something better for the money.
