This place isn't bad, but it's not so good either. The price was better then most, plus a 15% military discount which is awesome. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The TV and room phone didn't work, has a mini fridge but no coffee maker. The lobby doesn't open until 7:30 but I didn't know that since I was not told and there was no motel pamphlet in the room like usual. I went down for coffee at 6:45 and there was a sign saying "be back in ten minutes". Not a bad place just to crash and go.

Don't waste your money. I booked through hotels.com. I had originally booked another hotel but something happened with my reservation. This hotel charged me $130 for the night and it's a literal roach motel. It has a strong smell of cleaner or "air freshener" but it makes you nauseous it's so overpowering and disgusting. The property is ghetto and has undesirable characters hanging out and doesn’t feel safe. The pictures make it look decent and like the rooms are upgraded and they are not. The room should have bee. No more than $50. I will warn all people to steer clear of this motel it's definitely not hygienic and not worth the money. I have stayed at many hotels and this is by far the worse

So far the front desk ppl have been helpful and pretty nice when I’ve had ask them questions or interact with them. The only issue I’ve had was with a maid who over reacted to a towel of mine that accidentally got thrown into the return towel pile. She was ranting and raving about the torn towel that she was going to the front deck yada yada it took me couple times to get through to her wrong towel wools! My bad. Anyways the price is right and the rooms are ok the front desk ppl have been good and for the most part everything has been good.

I recently stayed at Rodeway Inn and Suites, and I had a really great experience. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and I felt right at home. Sam at the front desk was super friendly and made checking in a breeze. The location was perfect for my needs, and I appreciated the amenities offered. Overall, I had a really pleasant stay and would definitely recommend it to others. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Worst place ever don't even bother rude staff they live in a back room at the hotel and somehow still have a attitude when you ask for something rooms are disgusting every room smells like smoke and drugs. Showers are all broken the air smells like mildew DONT BOTHER !!!

Sam at the front desk, is great, very nice and positive attitude. I've stayed here a few times and every room has its goods and bads. Wish it costed a Lil less, but it is what it is.

Sam , checked me into the hotel , he was was respectful and professional , good sense of humor . As a contractor coming from Orange county to do work in Canyon Lake , the only place I will stay at is the Rodeway Inn . And they don't price gouge
