DO NOT STAY HERE – COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!

This place is an absolute disgrace. When I checked in, I found out someone had broken into a room and stolen medication, which was bad enough. But when I told the staff I didn’t feel safe and wanted a refund, they flat-out refused and blamed their own maintenance team for ā€œforgetting to close the door.ā€ Let that sink in—they ADMITTED their own negligence but still refused to make it right.

This place clearly doesn’t care about guest safety, security, or basic human decency. If their staff is too incompetent to lock doors, what else are they failing at? Cleaning? Pest control? Who knows what else is going wrong behind the scenes. If you value your belongings, your safety, or even a shred of respect as a paying customer, STAY FAR AWAY.

This isn’t just bad service—it’s downright dangerous. Google should let me give zero stars.

My experience at this establishment was highly disappointing. The manager's demeanor was unnecessarily authoritative, as if she were running a five-star luxury resort, while treating guests with a level of disregard that was both unprofessional and off-putting. Her attitude suggested the hotel was in high demand, yet it was clear that filling rooms to capacity would be a challenge even on their best days.

The facility itself leaves much to be desired. A significant number of rooms had serious plumbing issues, with some restrooms completely out of order and others barely functional—suitable only for minimal use, provided a plunger was readily available. These observations were made within just ten minutes of standing in the so-called "lobby," which more closely resembles a correctional facility check-in than a welcoming hotel reception.

Overall, the lack of hospitality, combined with poor maintenance, makes it difficult to recommend this place to anyone seeking a comfortable and accommodating stay.

I completely understand that this is a 2-star hotel. But can i at least get my room cleaned before i go in The room was unbelievably filthy. Stains and garbage on the floor holes and smashed roaches all over the walls. I suggest buying an air mattress. Do not sleep on any of these beds. There are bed bugs, and from the looks of other reviews, multiple rooms have a bed bug and roach infestation. The place needs a Serious Renovation ASAP

I strongly advise against staying here. The low price is a reflection of the poor conditions. This is by far the dirtiest place I’ve ever encountered. There was graffiti all over the room—on the walls, dressers, and doors. The bathroom door had holes in it, and the TV was broken, with vomit on it. The sheets had stains on them, as did the bathroom door and floor. To top it off, there were no towels or toilet paper provided. It’s clear that this place is more of a rundown, unsafe environment than a proper hotel.

We booked this place through the Choice app for a king room with kitchenette. When we got there, the place looked very rundown, the lobby was closed with just a window open with numerous signs about guns and violence posted, not a good neighborhood! They said only ones room was available and when we looked at it, it was with 2 beds, no TV and full disrepair! Probably why it was shown cheaper on the Choice app, should have been more clear on details. We cancelled our reservation and found a different hotel!

Do not stay here—it’s a health hazard and should be shut down. Do not book here under any circumstances. This place is a scam and a complete nightmare. The building reeks, the rooms are filthy with human feces, exposed wires, and holes in the beds. I was lucky to see the room before checking in, avoiding a huge mistake. The $75 cancellation fee is absurd for such an uninhabitable place. Do not stay here—it’s a health hazard and should be shut down.

I booked the room through priceline. I had never stayed here before. I didn't stay last night for very obvious reasons. the management was lackadaisical in their attitude. I spent an hour trying to get a room to stay in
.the first room they gave me had a dead bolt and not a keycard lock. they told me I was mistaken about the room number and directed me to the room next to what I had originally been told. That room was obviously under some sort of r -construction. no beds. no nada. the bathroom wasn't even complete. the 3rd room they tried to give me was horrible. no shower knob. a light falling in the shower. the towel rack was coming off the wall. the bathroom vent didn't have a cover. a dead cockroach on the floor. the door didn't operate properly. the bedding hadn't been washed. during the time spent trying to get the room situation figured out, My girl urgently needed to use the restroom. the security guard suggested I take her to a gas station somewhere. mind you, this is about midnight. qt closes their bathrooms at 10 pm. when we were sent to the last room there was no way either of us would have sat on the beds let alone on the toilet. when I asked for a refund the manager on duty told me I would have to go through Priceline for a refund then stated that for the price I was paying what did I expect.

I EXPECTED THE ROOM TO BE AS ADVERTISED. I EXPECTED NOT TO SPEND AN HOUR TO GET INTO A ROOM THAT WASN'T NEAR READY TO BE RENTED OUT. I HAD RESERVATIONS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. I EXPECTED THAT MANAGEMENT WOULD BE AT LEAST A LITTLE SYMPATHETIC AND TRY TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE.

I guess I expected far to much for a business transaction.

In my humble opinion both Rodeway and Priceline should be ashamed. Rodeway should have health inspectors and/or the city coming to visit and shut the place down. Priceline should, perhaps, visit the places they advertise to see if the rooms they are trying to rent out are actually as they are being advertised. When sent photos of the room, Priceline shouldn't be telling the customer that they'll have to speak with the general manager of the motel to issue a refund. I believe that the pictures speak volumes.
