I got in around 11:30pm and they were very quick at getting me a room. It’s been cold and I was so glad that the heater worked to warm the entire room, unlike the last motel I stayed at.
The bed was also super comfortable and everything was well cleaned. Definitely recommend!

Run down, poor service, and unsanitary

Had several appointments in Phoenix. On our way back I couldn't take the drive any more. He checked us into a hotel downtown Flagstaff. The room was freezing. So we decided to turn on the heater, go get something eat, food was amazing. We get back to the hotel and it was still freezing. We called the front desk she came up. She said, "You don't know how to work a heater?" I said, "I know how to work a heater, but It keeps shutting off." She said, "I'll give you a blanket." She wouldn't give us a heater. She also acused me of smoking weed. I don't smoke marijuana. I haven't smoked since i was a teenage. Also The toilet was also leaking from the bottom, they told us to put a towel on it, but won't supply us with another towel.

So we decided to leave to another hotel.

Do not stay here. We stayed for one night and when we returned from dinner, we found that the toilet had flooded the bathroom with an inch or two of water. In the morning they said they would send someone to take a look at it and basically nothing happened. We tried to discuss this but the manager supposedly was away and nobody else could do anything about it. We tried calling daily over the next 5 days and were avoided, passed off, hung up on, and spoken to incredibly rudely. Eventually we were refunded about $20 for the service fee and early check in, and were advised that was all they could do and that the toilet flooding was not their fault.

Beside the major issues above, the bed was advertised as a queen but is a double, the rooms were small and extremely old, and clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned in years, and we were charged $10 to check in 1 hour early which is a pretty low class move.

If you have any problems they are not interested in helping you and just want to take your money. Thankful that my experience wasn’t as bad as many other reviewers had though!

The location of this hotel is perfect. You can walk to downtown and easily drive to near by hikes. The room was clean, had clean bedding and towels. Nothing fancy for the price. The shower worked and the water was hot. The room had a fridge and working tv as well. There is an extra fee for animals. Overall I would stay here again for a cheap hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY WILL SCAM YOU.

Update 1/30: they charged my card yet again after I hadn’t been there for months. 3 disputes and hours on hold with credit card company and I had to change my card. Absolutely a joke

The people working are extremely rude and the rooms are awful. They scammed me out of $70 and when I attempted to kindly talk about it, the female manager dismissed me and said she didn’t care to look at my credit card statement. I asked for an extra pillow and was given one with a few what looked like sharpie stains on it. I then get charged $50 for a “stained pillowcase” and the person who charged it conveniently wasn’t there to talk about it. The beds are much smaller than advertised and there is no parking. The rooms are old and outdated. Ours smelled musty and I felt like I needed shower shoes to use the shower. Such a scam. And the employees are plain rude.

Edit: called back 2 more times. Was told I'd be refunded, but was still charged. Called again, spoke to Jesh, he was condescending and rude, and ended up hanging up on me. Scammers!

I booked this hotel because it was close to the Center and it offered parking.
It is in the City Center. This was all of the good side.
The parking worked like this: No parking available, so I had to park on the free public parking. It was Saturday. On the morning I had to locate my car until 9am on the hotel parking spot.
Water from the shower was very poor. A woman couldn’t wash her hair there.
Noise, love it to choose from Amtrak or road noise.
I slept cause I did the rim to rim of the Grand Canyon.
I payed $180, $50 would be fair.

Positive: It was a block from the event we were attending, so that was perfect.I found the bed to be soft and comfortable. It was a spring mattress, but felt more like a foam one with a plush top. Negative: I underestimated the loudness of the train?it was very loud.I couldn?t get the AC to stay on constant, so it woke me up a couple times when it kicked on.

Good location. Old, dated, and smelly rooms. Have done plenty of motels on road trips across US, Canada, and Mexico and this was one of my least favorite. Nonsmoking room reeked of smoke. Booked a king room and got two doubles. Parking lot can’t hold all guest cars. Hard to believe it is up to code. If you’re over 6ft tall watch your head! Also asked HIPAA protected questions about a service animal.
