I had a fantastic stay at the Rodeway Inn at Lake Powell! For the price I paid, the comfort, services, and amenities exceeded all expectations. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing the perfect place to relax after a long day of travel.

The highlight of my stay was the breakfast—a wide variety of delicious options that catered to every taste, making it an absolute delight for any tourist. After a long drive, this was exactly what I needed to recharge.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Great value for money!

Good Mongolian restaurant next door and close to the gas station. Affordable, but uncomfortable.

The first room we got assigned wasn't cleaned, but after some running around and a call to front desk, we got rooms switched. Not a huge deal, mistakes happen.

The property is dated, rooms are cold and old heaters are noisy, it takes hours to warm up the room to comfortable temperature.

Hotel doesn't provide any paperwork for room deposits, there's no explanation of duplicate credit card charges, etc. Employees are not friendly and provide poor service and show no empathy or respect to travellers. I've travelled a lot and seen all kinds of service and this is one of worst experiences I've encountered.

Avoid staying there, stay at reputable hotel chains where management is accountable and staff is trained to treat customers fairly.

Update 2/23/25: BREAKFAST IS NO LONGER FREE, despite Google Maps' false claims, along with the sign on the door to the lobby indicating breakfast hours and on the room door (no exceptions are mentioned on either). The hotel is under new ownership, and check-in is now via a huge kiosk with a live person in an unclear location, which feels unnecessary and may explain the breakfast charge. The removal of the complimentary hot breakfast, previously very well enjoyed, is a significant downgrade. I was informed that booking through an unspecified site other than Expedia might offer breakfast, but I found no mention of it on Choice Hotels, the overall management company for this motel. Onsite breakfast is unavailable for purchase, and the grab-and-go option appears minimal. This disappointing change has led to a rating adjustment. I stayed here in November 2024, and the breakfast was excellent then. While other aspects remain unchanged, I will seek alternative accommodations due to concerns about further downgrades under the new ownership and the ineffective kiosk check-in process.

Stay away !

I booked in Expedia as the prices were shown cheap in that area. There was no one at reception when we arrived, it was only an automated video caller on screen, poor support. Asked me to swipe my credit card and I did for 100$. Instead of deposit amount (which hotel used to hold and release), a proper activity of 100$ was posted, amount debited after four days.

Looks like a scam, intentionally done. No way to reach them over phone as the number given is also not working.

I was visiting places in Page (Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Band) and needed a place to stay overnight. Found this inn on Expedia as the most affordable. My expectations based on price were very low but once checked in, I found this inn to be very nice and exceeded my expectations. Clean rooms, comfy king size bed. You can walk to Safeway right from your porch which is super convenient. Has a small fridge and microwave. Free wifi (password provided on main door page). 100% satisfied customer and definitely would recommend

Cheap, that's about the only good thing. The place was empty and they gave someone the room above us, absolutely the worst place I've ever stayed. The people above us were walking in circles for HOURS, shaking the lights in my room. Absolute horrible experience.

We stayed for 3 nights. For the price it's a great central location if your plans are exploring the many sites in and around Page. Rooms are worn down and water pressure affected the sink in one room and a shower in another. There is a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend the lower level along the rear street. Your room door is next to the car and the patios have an outdoor table for four overlooking the pool and courtyard.

Positive: For the price, star rating, and a last-minute reservation it was very good. The room was quiet. The A/C worked well, the refrigerator was about 4-5' tall, much larger than the 2' mini -fridges at 4 and 5-start hotels. Negative: The bathroom could use a little maintenance and more thorough cleaning, but it was not dirty.
