Rocky Retreat is the perfect weekend getaway! Spent a weekend here learning about the history, cozying up by the fire, playing with the sweet pup, and eating delicious homemade food. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to be. But if you want to adventure out, there are plenty of cute shops and restaurants nearby, too! I can't wait to go back!

What an amazing slice of heaven! 5th time I think and I just love it. The historic house is so comfy, inviting, relaxing. Polly is an amazing hostess and makes sure everything is just right! The breakfast, the fireplace and all the extras make this spot a place I will always return to. LOVE IT.

Our family spent a few days at Rocky Retreat. We were in town for our son’s graduation. The location is very close to Clemson University and some great places to eat. Polly and Wright were amazing hosts and the daily breakfasts were so good! They even put together a care package of goodies for us to take to the airport when we had to head out very early to catch our flight. The quiet and calm was perfect after hectic days on campus. The surrounding is beautiful and green and the rooms are well appointed. It has a lot of history but it still has modern amenities. Our only regret here was not finding this wonderful place sooner!

Rocky Retreat Bed and Breakfast is a hidden gem! Our nephew was graduating from Clemson University, and we stayed here with the entire family. There could not have been a better place to stay. The Innkeepers, Polly and Wright are amazing. We woke up each morning to a fabulous home cooked breakfast and ended each day with happy hour and snacks. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nothing but exceptional. I highly recommend this B & B for families!!|Thanks Polly & Wright for making us feel like family!! xo

We traveled there for Clemson graduation weekend and it was the perfect place to stay for family. This is a hidden gem that I wish we had known about four years ago. We would’ve stayed there every year we visited. We rented the entire house for our family. We were able to enjoy the peace and quiet away from all the business of campus activities and obligations. Polly and Wright were amazing and took great care of us. We had the most beautiful breakfast every morning with beautiful scenery. I highly recommend having breakfast on the porch. We even came back from a crazy day after graduation to quiet on the porch with a bottle of Prosecco and some snacks waiting for us when we got there. They went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and fulfilled.

The owners (Poly and Wright) were warm and inviting. The place is a great quiet getaway. Love the character of the B&B and its history. The breakfast was home cooked food that was awesome. The French toast casserole was phenomenal. Definitely better than any of the hotels in the area. This will be my go to place for the area.

We absolutely LOVE Rocky Retreat! We recently hosted a mini family reunion at the Retreat and it was the perfect location for our gathering. We booked the entire house, so we had everything to ourselves. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and having the kitchen and dining room available to us was so convenient. We spent hours on the front porch and around the fire pit out back. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. The house and grounds are full of treasures to explore, which gave my guests an unexpected activity during a period of rain. We had a wonderful time doing a lot of nothing together and before everyone left, they were all discussing dates for the next gathering. I can't recommend Rocky Retreat enough for a gathering or event. The hosts are absolutely the best and they will make sure that your stay is perfect in every way.

We were in town for a Dixie Boys Baseball tournament at the end of July and stayed at this Bed and Breakfast. It was wonderful! The room was so nice and the bathroom was beautiful. The innkeepers were so nice and pleasant. The breakfast was a large home cooked meal and the conversation was delightful. We really enjoyed our stay!
