Room smelled moldy and musty when we arrived. We went to the dollar store and purchased febreeze to assist with the odor. And decided to stay as we were in town for a funeral and this was the only motel. Later in the night we noticed roaches crawling around on the vanity and mirror. There was also a couple of bugs in our bed. We ended up leaving at 11pm and driving to McAlester to get a different room as there is nobody on-site at rocking H to contact about issues. I left message with the owner’s daughter, MaKayla, the next morning and she never responded by text or phone call.

We needed a room for one night passing through town.
The check-in was good, and the price was fair for what it was.
Good: Hot shower.
Bad: Bed and pillows were terrible.
The walls were typical of this kind of motel, and you heard everything from the next room.
The room was in need of repair of several things and it needed a deep clean.
There were dead bugs along the floor next to the walls like it hadn't been vacuumed in a long time.

Not really a bad place to stay but the room smelled of dog urine and the toilet was so low to the floor. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The a/c worked awesome very comfortable when we went to bed. The shower was nice and hot.

We had no problems at all staying here. It has all you need; a comfortable bed and a decent shower. The only reason i gave it 4 stars , instead of 5, is because it needed a good cleaning (fake plats were super dusty, A/c was dusty, dirty floor under the beds, dirty shower curtain liner, dirty fridge and microwave). But the rest of the room was clean enough. ||Real friendly people.||The pre-bagged ice is located in a freezer at the end of the hotel (covered patio area with a rocking chair, picnic table and a grill). I wish we had found this the day we arrived. ||You need to visit the convenience store, next door. They have very good & inexpensive food- great selection- and the catfish was better than any I have had in TX. ||Two queen beds, non-smoking, small fridge & microwave, coffee pot, toiletries. Good A/C. We paid about $50. ||We called as we were on our way to that area and they had one room available. He took my cc # and held it for me, that was a blessing. ||I like the places where you can park right outside your hotel door. It makes it so convenient.

Great little place. It is an older type pull in front of the room motel. Very attractive decor in the interior. Clean and comfortable. Owners are super friendly and easy to work with. As a motorcyclist, I really appreciated the ability to park right in front of my room. A nice, quiet town. Very close to the some awesome riding. I will definitely stay here again.

Came to Talihina to visit my daughter and family for Christmas. As stated in other reviews not a lot to choose from, but this place is decent price is ok 62.50 for a king size bed. Lady at desk was super nice. WiFi was great and considering signal here is hit and miss that was a welcome surprise. Wish bed had been softer this one was super firm but husband that could sleep on a brick loved it. Would recommend and would stay again.

I LOVED this cute, little motel! It's a very quaint little place & one of the CLEANEST accommodations I have ever stayed in...large hotel chains included! The location is great & the staff is so friendly...they make you feel like a personal friend of theirs. It was quiet, clean & VERY reasonably priced. It had all we needed for an overnight stay, including a mini-fridge & microwave. I HIGHLY recommend The Rockin' H Inn to anyone visiting Talihina!
