This wedding venue / weekend getaway is truly a hidden gem. Nestled in a beautiful wooded area, it provides the perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding—serene, picturesque, and full of natural charm. However, be prepared to bring your own setup, as the venue requires couples to handle all the details themselves. Which we understood from the beginning.

Pam, the owner, is exceptional—kind, attentive, and always ready to help. Her communication is flawless, making the planning process much smoother. The cabins are a highlight as well: clean, cozy, and inviting, offering a comfortable retreat after a long day of celebration.

We loved our time here so much that we're already planning a return for a family weekend trip. Pam has definitely earned repeat guests in us, and we would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful location for their special day.

My granddaughter had her wedding here. The cabins were very nice. The only drawback is they don’t have bathrooms in them. U have to walk to the restroom. I liked that it sets up off the ground.

We primarily stayed here because they are dog friendly. Place is very clean, quiet, and tranquil. Only downsize is that the cabins don't have a private bathroom. There is a public bathhouse in the middle of the property. Luckily for us, we were the only ones staying at this property during Memorial Day Weekend 2023, so we had the bathhouse all for ourselves. But still, the walk from the cabin to the bathhouse, especially when it was raining, was an inconvenience.

Lovely place to get away! Beds have nice comfy linens and bathrooms were sparkling clean. Hosts are so helpful and accommodating. We loved walking around and exploring the property with our toddler. In the fall you can watch all the leaves fall from the balcony. We can't wait to go back!

We stumbled upon Rock Creek Retreat by chance and booked 2 days. We arrived to a gorgeous landscape and an absolutely lovely air conditioned cabin. The cabin was so clean and had plenty of plates, utensils, and glasses. There is a full sized fridge, a stove, a microwave, and a propane grill to use so we stocked up on food at a nearby grocery store. It was just perfect! The cabin has a front and back balcony with plenty of chairs. There is even a slide to play on, which our 5 year old loved. The restrooms are just a short walk away and are also very clean. The rain shower heads felt so good after a long day exploring. The owners have thought of everything!

The area surrounding the cabins is just stunning and peaceful. We spent hours exploring and even found an old rope swing that we had a hard time leaving. There are so many trails cleared that you can explore. We spent our evenings watching the fireflies from the balcony and listening to the quiet. The beds are comfortable and we slept so well.

We will definitely be visiting again. I cannot recommend this place enough if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing place to escape for a while.

We had so much fun on our 2 night stay with our 4 kids ages 9 months to 13. The accomodations were so clean and the hosts were so hospitable and kind. The buildings were all new and well made and the provided linens, utensils, toiletries, etc were great and made it feel like home. It had all the joy of camping in the outdoors without all the work. The kids loved the slide and swing and paths for "exploring." We spent both days at Little Niagara (about 30 minutes away in Sulphur) swimming in the clear, cold water. Turner Falls is close by but isn't free admission so we stuck with Little Niagara both days. It was a great vacation.

"Absolutely one of the best weekend retreats ever. Pam and Cara think of every detail, even providing slippers for the showers. The cabins were clean, quiet and perfect for a weekend getaway. The river and hiking trails were a nice bonus. We will definitely be back and bringing friends. Please let them know how much we enjoyed our stay!"

Probably our best valentines weekend ever! The host is very friendly and down to earth. She helped my husband a little with the flowers and strawberries too lol, so sweet! It was so quiet, and next to the creek. If you dont want to walk down from the camper you can slide down. They all have slides. We didnt though lol. Next time we will definitely bring the kids!!
