Riverside is a Greek restaurant beside the st Mary river. We had the Mediterranean pasta with chicken, pork chop dinner, Reuben sandwich, and mozeralla caprese. Food was great. Pesto that came with the caprese was rather weak but overall good experience.

My lasagna was good, but we were annoyed they wouldn’t serve chicken strips to my wife. They have chicken strips on the kid’s menu, but don’t have an adult version and wouldn’t let an adult order from the kid’s menu, nor did they find a way to make it work (up charge and add a strip to the kid’s version or something).
Just a poor service choice imo. She got a burger that was just okay. The fries were good.

Enjoyed our experience. We visited on Jan 1, 2025, mostly out of necessity. Nearly everywhere else was closed, and that's to be expected. I had the grilled shrimp and fries. The shrimp was delicious. Our waitress was polite and professional. The price was a little higher than I expected, but that's also understood, considering.

We so enjoyed the Riverside Cafe! The staff were very friendly and helpful.We started with fresh calamari. I had Greek Lasagna and was very pleasantly surprised. It was very rich & creamy. My husband had the shrimp platter and was very happy with his choice. We shared a piece of fresh key lime pie. Oh yum 😋 Highly recommend this wonderful little treasure in St. Mary's, GA.

Fantastic Greek food! I didn't even know they had Greek food when we chose to eat there, but I was so happy when we went in. Service was wonderful. They were busy with the lunch rush but they handled the service perfectly. If you go you have to get the baklava! It's perfect 🥰 First time trying the Bifteki, glad I did! And they have outside dinning so you can bring your dog 🐕 I will be back with friends!

After a noon meal, we decided to cap it off with a slice of blueberry and a slice of strawberry cheesecake at the Riverside Cafe. The pies were scrumptious, and packed with the most blueberries that I’ve ever seen on a slice of cheesecake. The service was great and the view was even greater. We look forward to visiting again soon.

The best place to eat in St. Mary’s Georgia. The Mediterranean cuisine is fantastic. The moussaka, the hummus, the tzatziki the pita bread all homemade all delicious. The baklava and coffee out of this world. They have American fair like a cheeseburger too, but I travel an hour to go and have the Mediterranean cuisine.

We stopped in at the Riverside Cafe after spending two nights and 3 days on Cumberland island. We were looking forward to a fresh hot meal and this place definitely delivered it. The food was very tasty, hot and filling. Our waitress was very nice and checked on Ice multiple times to see if we needed anything. Very nice establishment with genuine customer service. We ordered the Caprese salad as an appetizer which was delicate and delicious. My husband had the pork chop plate after a recommendation from another Diner who was popping in. I had the Reuben I am very particular with Reubens but I must say this Ruben delivered above my expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed this spot in St Mary's and we would highly recommend you stopping in to try their menu!
