It was so nice to get out of a city into peace & quiet. It was relaxing. We had everything we needed to cook & grill out if we wanted. You will need to bring charcoal & lighter fluid tho. If you get a chance, stay here.

Loved our time here!! My husband and I stayed at the Windsong, while family stayed at Mimosa Terrace. Both were stunning, but the view at Windsong was to die for. I loved the decor, the comfort level, and the personal touches sprinkled through both places. We had a blast on the kayaks, loved the surrounding countryside, and can’t wait to come back. The beds were comfortable, the linens high quality, and the furniture seemed very upscale. I’m not a fan of clutter, and both places had just enough decor to hit the sweet spot of “well-finished but not too much”. I’m nit-picky on cleanliness, and the Windsong was flawlessly spotless. I spoke with two different office staff members during our time there, and they were super friendly. Give them a try!

I recently stayed in both the Homestead cabin and Mimosa Terrace. I had a fantastic time, and enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and wading/swimming in the river. The cabins are clean, comfortable, and very cozy. I stayed in the Homestead cabin with a group of friends (four adults, and two older teens,) and we all loved the house. It comfortably fit our whole group, and we loved the fully-stocked kitchen. 10/10, I would recommend it to anyone.
I stayed at Mimosa Terrance with my uncle and aunt’s family (two adults, two teens, and three kiddos) and we all enjoyed our stay very much. The house was stunning, with a beautiful view of the river.
I would recommend Rivers Edge Cottages to anyone, but don’t take my word for it. Come and see for yourself!

I brought a group of 5 girls here for a multi-year senior trip. It was all I’d hoped for! So peaceful. The Homestead cabin was perfect with the furnished kitchen, clean & pretty bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved the bookshelves and decor.
We spent most of our time outdoors hiking, kayaking, painting, reading, swimming, biking, listening to the birds, watching fireflies…
I gave the girls an option of leaving for one day and doing some shopping somewhere… they didn’t want to leave. That says a lot.

This was our first time staying at river’s edge and we came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We booked on short notice and the only cabin available was the stream side cabin. It was very clean and cozy. Perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. Bed was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It rained the whole time we were there so we did not canoe or do any of the hiking trails, but the cabin did have a smart tv and WiFi, games and puzzles. I would recommend this place and we plan on going back.

Our family of four stayed at Riverbend Cottage and it was amazing!!! We all agreed it was one of the very best vacations we'd ever been on.
The cottage is charming, cozy and so secluded. The pictures don't do it justice! The view from the porch was incredible even in February. It was very clean and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. The sheets and towels are luxury quality. We loved the fire pit with chairs and picnic table at the end of the house. They even supply the firewood and kindling!
Just a short walk away are the canoes and kayaks and we spent a lot of the time floating along the river which is right down the steps of the house!
The people who run Rivers Edge are wonderful. Gary is such a kind, helpful man! He gave us wonderful fishing advice and we caught some fish in the river right out front of the house.
The property is beautiful. It has lots of well maintained, real hiking trails. We actually never left the property even though we'd planned to go down to Broken Bow and Hochatown. Once we were at Rivers Edge we just didn't want to leave!
We cannot recommend Rivers Edge highly enough and hope very much to come back and stay again soon!!!

This was my favorite weekend vacation of all time. We rented The Bear but were upgraded to Pine Summit because of a maintenance issue, and I can say that the cost per night of Pine Summit would totally be worth it if someone could pay this. It was absolute perfection in every way and so magical. Being right on the river and sitting on the deck listening to the water was amazing. I love being out in nature, and this was so wonderfully secluded. I can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful cabin !
We stayed in the Cheakpse cabin.
It was really romantic and relaxing.
Cabin was super clean and it had everything you needed for cooking. Star gazing at night will always be the most memorable memory here. Only complaint was the Wi-Fi was slowww and when we tried to go kayaking the kayaks were COVERED in mud/dirt and filled with water and there were no paddles. There was no way to get into the water either without submerging yourself in mud.
Will definitely be back!
