Best kept secret! So nice and clean! Best view of the Columbia River. Nice paved walk along the water. The cabins are terrific with or without your dog. Very easy check-in and checkout. Staff is very pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend!

Unfortunately we were only in the area overnight, however we will be back often when we visit our friends. ||I love this Lodge. It's well maintained. The staff are nice and helpful. The housekeeping is GREAT. ||My husband has stayed here for business on several occasions. The rates are on par with the commercial hotels located on the hwy. Who would stay on the hwy when you can stay on the river?||The River Lodge is a great option.

The bed was so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep all night, and the rooms are outdated and dirty. We waited 10 minutes at the restaurant without getting a menu, so we left. No manager available to address issues. The AC didn’t work, and there was a stain on the comforter. The place was filthy. A HOTEL OF THIS SIZE NEEDS A MANAGER ON DUTY ON THE WEEKENDS. HOW DO YOU HAVE 2 MANAGERS AND NEITHER WORK WEEKENDS?

Find accommodations in the next town instead. Best Western in Hermiston is the same price point and has a working pool and free breakfast.

This is NOT a 3 star hotel and is falsely advertised as so . This hotel is the quality of a motel 6 but triple the price.

Approximately 20 years ago, my wife and I discovered River Lodge. We live in Idaho but travel to Portland or the Oregon Coast two or three times a year. We always spend one night at River Lodge both on our way and on our return. The Lodge is right at the edge of the Columbia and is most comfortable, clean, picturesque, quiet, romantic and offers great views of the river, especially Tug Boat and Barge traffic. Occasionally a river boat may be seen passing by. The Two Barrels Grill offers an excellent menu of food, drink and river view as well. Cannot recommend a stay at River Lodge or the cabins highly enough The management and staff are superb! In addition recommend exploring Boardman's other services as well. Its a great place to become familiar with.

The location is wonderful and the main lobby at check in is beautiful! Main lobby is updated remodeled and well decorated. Lots of games and bikes you can check out complimentary which is nice. Go across the street for pizza and a brew! Absolutely nothing to complain about until we got to our room as they are not the quality one would expect. Fair at best sort of cheap (great view though) and needing maintenance. The beds were clean but not very comfortable. Compared to anything else in town it’s a 5 start hotel but this is not a 5 star hotel. Update the rooms and make more luxurious and you get to 4 stars.

Stayed in a two-bedroom one-bath cabin. Just needed a place to crash on a road trip, so we did not get to take full advantage of the site. No pool or hot tub in the winter, but we knew this prior to arrival. No wine available to purchase in the evening, alas. No breakfast options before 8:00 am (at least not on Sunday.) Used a provided wagon to haul our stuff from the parking lot to the cabin, but the lack of lighting and the poorly-planned curbs/sidewalks made this difficult. Cabins are not prominently numbered either, No numbers at all are visible in the dark, so glad we counted and found ours correctly. The cabin was simple, and felt inexpensively constructed, but met our needs. It smelled very strongly of cleaning chemicals, but that is better than smelling of smoke or pets. We may stay here again if we have more time to unwind... But it definitely would not be my first choice for a quick one night stop over on a trip.

You can't beat the view!! You are literally steps from the river! We enjoyed everything about the cabin that we stayed in. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked for basic cooking. The lodge was great and the had a restaurant on the property. Loved everything!!

Rooms are ok. Front desk people are not too friendly. The restaurant has a nice view of the river. All I had was a breakfast and it was good!
