Great, easy stay. Rooms totally checked the boxes for my wife and I. Very clean.

Side note: New, family based ownership. I was able to talk to one of the owners on our way out, sounds like they are going to repaint and fully automate very soon. Really cool, they have big visions for this fun mountain town

This was the most depressing room I think I’ve ever stayed in. The toilet area was so small I could not move around. The one chair was so rickety. I thought it might fall apart. Plus, it was too tall to use with the small table. Plus the service was not good. When I checked out early, the manager didn’t even want to hear my complaints. He just told me plenty of people like the room. He told me that he would not refund the unused night, then just rudely turned around and walked back into his living quarters. On the plus side, the bed was good, the room was clean, and the internet worked well. I will never stay here again.

The only reason this is not getting one star is because the red-headed young man at the front desk was really nice.

The shower had ridiculously high water pressure to where it felt like taking a shower in a fire hose. It was actually painful and I had to hop out.

The bed seemed comfortable at first but as I slept on it I realized there was a huge lump in the middle and I just couldn't get comfortable.

If I just needed a quick sleep, this would do the job but keep your expectations super low.

(Also the clear glass lighting fixture had been painted over, and then parts of it were brown maybe where it burnt? And you could see that there had been one of those ugly wallpaper trims around the top of the room that they just painted over as well. Just to give you an idea.)

The BEST staff! The young man at the front is so sweet and charming!!! He gave such a warm welcome. Check in/out process very easy, no brain cells required. If you’re looking for a small cozy place to stay, this is THE spot! Great restaurant right next door as well! So happy I stayed here and will be coming back again and again:)

I did an impromptu trip to do a 2 day trout fishing adventure and on short notice found Rim Country Inn. We really liked the location since we we're walking distance from several restaurants. The room was clean and the A/C worked as designed to deal with the 90 degree highs in Payson for our stay.

This is a nice clean hotel in the heart of Payson. The front desk young man is helpful and friendly. The rooms are older, but clean and they have microwave, refrigerator, and coffee. And the beds are comfortable. For the price, it's 5 stars.
