Revolution Donuts came highly recommended and maybe we bought too much into the hype. The donuts were ok, but definitely didn’t live up to the hype.

My hats off to their ability to generate buzz, but just didn’t meet our expectations.

First time at this donut shop. My father recommended I try it as he met the owner at a food photography workshop in Vermont. Donuts were good and plenty of unique flavors! Had the birthday cake, gingerbread old fashioned, and tangerine pistachio donut. I'd come for another visit!

These are the BEST vegan donuts ever! I live about 15 miles from here, so I maybe go 5 times out of the year when I really want to treat myself. I bought two vanilla iced lattes with oat milk and half a dozen donuts for a total of $33. They are pretty pricey! But anything to order is usually expensive. Great, fluffy & flavorful donuts! The staff is super sweet also!

And the first post for Roli's Bites of the Week goes to... @revolutiondoughnuts in Decatur! I'll drive the distance for these things... I don't care 😂🍩

Their DARK CHOCOLATE DONUT (yeast) is the winner in my book. These donuts are special and a favorite of mine, I know they'll be yours too!!

Check them out and let me know what you think!!

In the box: Crunchy Mister, Chai Tea, Vanilla Bean, another Crunchy Mister, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Dark Chocolate

Edit: They finished their remodeling and the space is now great, not like before where you everyone was always bunched up all together on this tiny little space.

For the first time ever I had a Disappointing Experience Today at Revolution Doughnuts located in City of Decatur/Kirkwood on North College Ave.
I wasn’t aware this establishment’s hours on Thursdays were 7 AM-2 PM mainly because the OPEN sign was lit as I was waking towards the door. I arrived at 1:58PM, parked right in front of the door, and walked to place my hand on the door just as two employees rushed to lock it right in front of me. It was clear they saw me approaching, but instead of offering a greeting or an apology, they turned their backs and continued working as if I wasn’t standing there with my hand on the door.

I was hoping to treat the amazing teachers and staff at my child’s school with your donuts, but it seems they’ll have to settle for Krispy Kreme—a business that doesn’t lock doors in customers’ faces as they walk up.

I used to enjoy your donuts back when I lived closer, but after today’s display of poor customer service, I’ll be finding another place to support—hopefully one that values all customers equally.

It’s disappointing how moments like these highlight the divisive effects of gentrification, where certain community members feel excluded or disregarded. Better treatment could go a long way in retaining loyal patrons, but for now, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Worth the try. Always a good experience when I do go. They’re under construction and I still had a pleasant experience, fresh donuts and not to mention vegan options. Not just 1 or 2 vegans options either. Like a variety of good flavors.

VEGAN FRIENDLY 🌱🌎
Arrived at 11 am ish. There was a line outside the door. It was very busy! I paid about $20 for 4 vegan glazed donuts and a large oat milk latte. Service was nice, store was clean. Did not see a public bathroom. Downside is the limited parking on a busy street. You can park on the grass opposite from the store but be careful leaving. Limited outdoor seating depending on if it’s busy. Vegan donut was sweet, crispy, and surprisingly thick. 😂
They have multiple milk options and almond milk on the side to use as coffee creamer.

Saturday line out the door so these must be fabulous donuts?! So we had some time to burn before visiting the Pullman Yards. Ran over to get a few donuts. We purchased 2 old fashioned, one chocolate glazed and a maple cake glazed. My family didn’t care for the old fashioned or chocolate. I thought the maple glazed was good. I did not expect to pay $12.95 for 4 donuts! Yes I get it rent is high and this is ATL, but flour and sugar are cheap. Rays donuts in canton are much better and half the price.
