Nice hotel. A few suggestions and feedback... It's a best practice to make sure the toilet (at a minimum) is working before you rent out a room. Toilet not working upon arrival. Fix request, and the eventually room move, was clunky and slow (they were aware we were on a tight schedule). We asked for a room change from the beginning. Housekeeping should also be made aware of how to better navigate their do not disturb magnets when placed on the outside of the door in plain view. Otherwise, rooms are clean and mostly well kept (the candy and food snacks left under the bed by previous guest(s) could stand a little deep cleaning once in a while). Good kitchen (well equipped). Staff was nice. Comfortable bed (medium firm). Good place for short and long term stays.

What a homey feeling stay I had here! The rooms are nice, clean and relatively current. Typical Residence Inn, you get a kitchen, living room, bedroom in a studio-style floor plan plus a bathroom alcove. The bathroom splits itself between the sink, closet area and the shower, toilet area with a door which I like. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful for any need I had. They told me it's going to change to card operated system, but for the month I was there, the use of the laundry machine was free! The complimentary breakfast was adequate. Not terrible, but also not to die for. It was just what I needed before reporting to the office every morning. Next time you need to stay an extended period, try staying here instead of a traditional single-room hotel.

For business travel in the region this is a great place.
Kitchenette avoids the high cost for eating out and tipping, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast and reception personnel are very friendly and helpful.
The small renovations last year are noticed and appreciated, keep that up!

Location is superb for me but it depends on your situation… the bed is super comfortable. Clean. Breakfast could be better. All the rest is average plus.

The staff at the Residence Inn at Tanasborne are the friendliest we have ever encountered. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.

The friendliest place around. Love this hotel. Lovely comfortable rooms, serviced by a great team. Staff could not be friendlier. Nothing is too much of a bother for them. Breakfast is first class. Even the squirrels are cute🙃 There are also high end Gas BBQ’s for guest use.

I wouldn’t use any other hotel when I’m in Oregon on business.

I will give 1-2 star for the overall experience

The hotel breakfast is worst sector,much lower than average Residence inn level. There are 2 choices for you, green bananas or half green orange.

As a customer I understand hotel need renovations to keep quality, no gym or other facilities can be used, breakfast can improve as a compensation, let’s is feel better.

Overall, our stay here has been very annoying. Started by entering into a construction zone and a makeshift desk of plastic tables. After asking the construction team to kill the saws and drills we were able to hear the associate behind the tables and got checked in. Upon getting to our room we found a thin layer of paint overspray dust lining the closet. Which I didn't notice until I'd already gotten white dust all over my clothes. It did all simply wipe off and after cleaning the closet, we were able to finish unpacking. The new automatic lights are a nightmare. Lights just come on any time you move, so try not to move while your kids are sleeping. I had to cover all the sensors. Mostly worked after that, although now that the sensors were covered they will automatically shut off after a while of no movement. Which left me standing in the dark trying to shower one early morning. Seems like a safety hazard to me, but apparently this is a requirement from the city to conserve energy. The dishwasher doesn't spray and was not installed properly so you can't even close the door all the way without physically shifting the unit over every time. Bathroom sink leaked, so don't be like me and store your dirty clothes basket under the sink area, or you may find them already presoaked as I did. Maintenence came by and patched up the sink, but it was still loose at the p-trap and I had to tighten that up myself.
The sun curtains were installed wrong and can't close so we've had to put a clip on the shades to keep them closed at night. The thermostat stat doesn't work, no air or heat, but we are able to open the windows to cool the room and close them to heat it -_-... The phone also did not work in either of the phone jacks in the room so you should plan on having to walk to the front desk for all of your maintenance complaints. If you would like to hit the gym to expell your frustration, get a temporary membership locally as the gym is also off limits due to the construction. Of course the renovations are not mention on their website and are not reflected in the price at all.

All of that said, the staff have been understanding and have offered to move us to a different room. However, we would prefer to deal with the issues than to have to pack up and move again as we have been traveling for a while. The rooms are a good size, and as everything in ours is basically new. Once it's all functional, I expect it to be better. However, I'll have to wait and see as I am only 1 week into a month and a half stay.
