My insurance placed us in this hotel after we had a house fire last year and it was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. We asked to book a one bedroom and what we got was one room with a king bed and a sofa with a pull-out bed. The description given on their website specifically says that it was a "one bedroom". Call me crazy but "one bedroom", to me, means a room with a bed and a DOOR separating itself from the main living area. We explained this to the front desk after we realized we were not given the room we asked for and they blamed it on the insurance representative that booked the room for us. Then, I showed them my confirmation email that clearly says a "one bedroom suite with a kitchen" was booked. Again, they took no responsibility and said they had no other rooms available. We decided to check out after finding a hotel that could provide us with a one bedroom. As we were standing at the front desk a woman named Kimberly came out of her office and asks why I'm checking out. Once again, I politely explained that we need at least a one bedroom and that the room they had us in wasn't going to work for us, especially since we were supposed to stay for a couple weeks. She then started to become upset and said housekeeping wouldn't be able to clean the room since I was checking out late. She then asks if I was going to a house or another hotel. Not sure why it was any of her business but I did tell her that it was a hotel. I was really caught off guard by her attitude, especially when I was very nice to her. I went out to the parking lot where my partner was waiting for me and asked him to go speak with her to make sure there weren't any issues. So he goes inside and I follow behind him. He goes to Kimberly's office and asks her if there are any issues. She then becomes even nastier and accuses me of getting an attitude with her and also accuses me of blaming her for not being placed in the room we had asked for. To me, it wasn't about who was to blame, it was simply about the room not working for us because we needed a bedroom with a door. She was so rude and I couldn't believe the way she spoke to me. I explained that my house caught on fire and I was going through an insanely difficult time and that I didn't appreciate the way she was treating me. She had absolutely no tact at all and provided the absolute worst customer service I have ever received, especially given our unfortunate circumstances. I will never set foot in this hotel again. Shame on you Kimberly, you are the rudest person I have ever met in my life!

We stayed at this hotel for a NFL football game. It is approximately a 20 minute walk to the stadium which is great during normal temperature days but not during an unusual hot spells. The housekeeping was okay but not outstanding. Daily we had to ask for towels from the front desk. The breakfast was just average.

We stayed at this property for New Years Eve. There key card system locked everyone in the hotel out of their room for over 3 hours. The front desk staff was not helpful at all. We will never stay there again. And seeing I booked this room on a 3rd party site, I had to still pay full price

I was hesitant to stay at this property given a lot of the bad reviews on the property and the customer service at the front desk. However, we ultimately decided to stay at this property because the it offered two rooms and kitchen and we wanted to stay in Glendale. |My experience with each and every employee was pleasant and the property was in fine condition. I consider myself on the pickier side of things. The location was excellent, the room was clean and in great shape and the employees were friendly and helpful. The AC worked well which was needed given that the temperature was 113 and the pool was nice to go into at night. The property is well maintained. I've only stayed at a few Residence Inn and this was by far my favorite.

I stayed in an extended stay room. Single room, bed, desk, kitchen, etc. The room was nice, it was missing a shelf and the tile was cracked in the bathroom. The front desk was very helpful with any issues and recommended where to eat. The gym and pool are shared with the SpringHill Suites.

The 2 bedroom suite was clean but that was the most positive thing đŸ˜Ģ
I intentionally chose Residence Inn to give my 94 yr old an upscale hotel experience for her birthday but was very disappointed. We live in the hot desert, but there was no ice in the freezer and no ice machines...I had to go to the front desk to ask for ice!...did I mention we live in the hot desert! The seat in the handicapped shower was loose so my mother wasn't able to use it. The complimentary breakfast was totally lacking, I've had better breakfasts at 2-star hotels on I-10!
It definitely wasn't the upscale experience I was hoping for my mother's 94th birthday.
