This is my "GO TO" place when visiting Alabama. First off the staff is unbelievably polite and helpful. You can tell they love being there!! I have stayed 3 different times now with them and have never gotten the same layout for a 1 bedroom suite yet. The full kitchen is wonderful, just bring your food. Definitely a place for an extended stay. The rooms are well appointed and the beds will give you an excellent nights rest. Very clean!!! Breakfast will be sure to delight any appetite or diet. Coffee 24/7 is also nice. The outside grounds are very well kept and plenty of lighting in the parking lot at night. Very safe and secure area with a steakhouse right across the street!! They also have a "community area" with comfy chairs and sofas around a fire pit, grills, tables and chairs, if you don't feel like staying inside. The pool is nice, too. Be sure to check this awesome hotel out, wouldn't want you to miss out!!

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the Residence Inn in Decatur, IL. I had a confirmed reservation, checked in, and even received my mobile key on Tuesday. However, when I was about to head to my appointment, I opened the app only to find that I had been moved to the Fairfield Inn without any prior notice. I understand that overbooking can happen, but I was never contacted about this change, which is unacceptable.

I did not feel comfortable staying at the Fairfield Inn as a businesswoman traveling alone, and to make matters worse, when I called the Residence Inn to address the issue, the response I received was nothing short of terrible. The person who canceled my reservation and moved me to Fairfield was dismissive and unhelpful. This lack of communication and poor customer service is a huge disappointment, especially since Marriott is known for excellence in customer care. This experience was a major letdown, and I hope this is not the standard for future guests.

When you?|| Talk about hospitality.|| Everybody, everyone should learn from the resident residents in Decatur. From the moment madam I stepped in, I was greeted with a beautiful smile from Adriana. She was so welcoming they went over and above to listen to my Concerns and when I tell you I have never been to a hotel while.I felt So welcome and her manager jonathan the He's the bomb dot com And this morning, miss Debra and miss Anne oh I love them if you wanted to find a place to stay when you're not at home.I would strongly suggest coming to the residence in Decatur.I would definitely be back and tell all of my friends and family to come here.You can't beat this. I would just like to follow up this and say thank you for such a beautiful Stay

Stayed here for several days. The facility is clean, extreme well maintained, and all the staff were super friendly and asked if they could help with anything or get things for us. The staff made this review go from a 4 to a 5. The breakfast was superb, with entrees rotated on a daily basis. The hotel has underground complimentary parking. The hotel’s location is in a good residential area. The value for the nightly rate is acceptable. This R.I. I highly recommend for anyone needing access to Atlanta.

Very nice place to stay - everything looks new. The room was fresh, clean, very comfortable, & nicely appointed. Wonderful very kind professional staff who met our every need & request with a smile. Fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed. The morning coffee was very good, & the breakfast options (scrambled eggs, cereal, waffles, juice, muffins, etc.) were just fine. |Only drawback is that this property is not very close to the interstate, & driving through an unfamiliar town to get to this location was a bit of a challange, & using GPS was not perfect. However, when we are in the area again we will stay here, because this place is worth the drive off the interstate. It's just that nice.

I was in the shower and the fire alarm went off so I ran downstairs in nothing but a towel!!!!! After several minutes of total humiliation the staff told us it was a false alarm and a scheduled event! I was NOT informed and apparently neither was the staff. I suffer from panic disorder, anxiety and ptsd. This is not cool Marriott. Your staff should have been in the know so they could tell guests! Probably will never stay here again but the rooms are nice and very clean and the staff is super friendly!

I had a 1 bedroom suite with full kitchen and loved it!! Very clean and comfortable. The towels were thick and large and loved that the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was in a pump dispenser on the wall of the shower. Sure beats all those little bottles and soap wrappers. The girl that checked me in was a friendly person and very polite. The grounds and hotel was very clean and kept up nice. Plenty of parking and a safe area. Well lit at night. Breakfast in the morning was good, something for every taste and also was kept stocked and clean.

This hotel is about 10 miles off the interstate but it was well worth it. The staff was friendly & welcoming. Our rooms were clean & comfortable, bed was very good, shower is outstanding. Breakfast was great! The property is very attractive.
