My wife and I recently stayed at the Residence Inn in Columbus, Ohio, and we were thoroughly impressed. While the hotel was on the pricier side, we found it well worth the cost for our four-night stay.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and felt more like a well-furnished one-bedroom apartment. We loved the full kitchen with bar stools, a full-size fridge, and a microwave. The bathroom and shower were generously sized, and the living area with a couch and desk made for an extremely comfortable stay.

One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast—it was excellent, with a great variety of options and plenty of seating. Compared to the neighboring Marriott (which charges $15 per person for breakfast), this was a major perk.

A few minor drawbacks: The elevators were slow, the hallways were quite long, and parking could be a bit of a walk due to limited spaces. Additionally, while the hotel overlooks a large cemetery, this wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s something to be aware of. Our biggest challenge was dealing with noisy neighbors late at night. While security did respond, the noise persisted, making for a rough night before an early flight. I understand this isn’t entirely the hotel’s fault, however, I do wish there had been a more effective resolution.

Despite that, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Columbus. If you’re looking for comfort, great amenities, and an outstanding breakfast, this is a fantastic choice. Just be prepared with earplugs in case you get inconsiderate guests nearby!

About the best you'll get with the Residence Inn brand; newly updated, clean, nice rooms. Typical breakfast served in the morning. A good value for the time of year that I was there. Also, you have the Marriott property right next door, so additional restaurant and bar facilities to check out.

The atmosphere was great. The restaurant was clean, organized with very cute decor. Aubriann and Shawn were amazing and quick to have our cocktails ordered and delivered. They were tentative and kind during our visit. I would highly recommend visiting OSU Marriott to all.

We had a great experience. The location was perfect for our needs and the location was perfectly clean. The breakfast was an awesome addition at no extra cost. The staff (marjaneh, shirin, Seth, and rokya, and Jerri) were all exceptional at different times during our stay for different reasons. The guy at check-in was so engaging with our family.

Staff is excellent and welcoming. Jerri was super helpful everyday and greeted everyone with a smile! Had packages delivered and staff looked out for them and got them to me assp! Although got an upset stomach from something I ate bartender and servers were very good!|Overall great stay.

This hotel was great ! The complimentary breakfast was great and the staff was amazing! Special shout out to Ms Jerri who made sure we had everything we needed ! When visiting Columbus and especially OSU … this is the place to stay ! We will definitely be back when we ready in town again
