Upscale hotel in Mobile with a great view!
I wasn’t sure where the engrave was since there was no obvious sign displayed.

We really liked our upgraded room, overlooking the river.
Bedding was a top notch and the room was nicely renovated. I loved the interior decor and furnitures. However, bathroom was more traditional and not updated to the same standard.. inside sink had a little crack on it.

Amenities including pool and fitness center were pretty good and had a great view of the river and building.
Front desk staff and valet staff were friendly and tried to accommodate us in any way possible.

This hotel offers a truly grand experience, starting from the moment you arrive. The valet or self-park garage provides direct access to the hotel, with the convenience of in-and-out access via your room key.||||The grand lobby is a hub of activity, housing a bar, restaurant, cafe, and shop. It sets the tone for the luxurious experience that awaits you.||The room is nothing short of stunning. The amazing decor, large space, with overlooking view of the Mobile river create a serene and inviting atmosphere. The very comfortable bed, large TV, and fridge added to the overall comfort. The bathroom features a tub shower, although a dedicated/separate shower compartment might have felt more premium.||||The rooftop pool and hot tub are very nice, offering a great place to relax and unwind with again impressive views of the river. However, they do go into shade in the afternoon. The addition of seats in the water is a unique touch that enhances the pool experience. Our only negative feedback on this was that the pool was a bit too cold to stay in for any period of time. There is also a separate water play area for kids, with fun water shoots which is a great addition!||||Located in the heart of downtown, the hotel provides a map of local attractions, restaurants, and bars, making it easy to explore the area. Despite its central location, the hotel is quiet with good soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful stay.||In conclusion, this hotel offers a grand and luxurious experience with its stunning rooms, excellent facilities, and prime location. A few minor improvements could make it even better. Sadly, despite having free parking on our booking, which we told Front Desk about – we were charged this anyway, even though it did not appear on our bill at checkout. A quick email to the hotel and the issue was promptly resolved.

Fantastic hotel, definitely recommended... The rooms were fantastic and the staff were all very kind and helpful! It's a top notch hotel, the type that in a bigger city would be $400-500 a night, and they treat you like that, if not better... Plus we had everything we needed (great restaurants, bars, breakfast spots, coffee places) all within a couple blocks.... Thanks again!

I stayed at the Renaissance Movile Riverview Plaza hotel for 4 days, for a National Convention. The hotel was lovely. The rooms were spacious and well kept. During my departure, I called the front desk to let them know that they could pick up our bags (we had a lot of them packed at the door). A young lady came with the luggage cart and we assisted her in clearing ALL ITEMS, including a black and a clear garment bag, out of our room. She told us to go get our car and meet her downstairs. She then left with our items. We met her downstairs after retrieving the car, and tried to help her put our belongings into the car. She insisted that she would do it. Fast forward...We arrived home, and 3 days later, I noticed that our black garment bag was missing. I called the hotel and was transferred to Loss Prevention. He said "it looks like there was a black bag left in 1119 with assorted mens and women's clothing". He boxed the garment bag and sent it to my home. I received it in 4 days. There were numerous items missing. I called the Hotel once again and was transferred to Loss Prevention. I told him exactly which items were missing, and he stated that he would look into it and get back to me. That has never happened. I am a Bonvoy rewards member, and my contact information is on file. I never receive a call that my belongings were found, nor did I ever received a call back about my missing items. I am highly disappointed in the unethical staff at this location. Attached is a picture of every outfit I ironed before we left. I know EXACTLY what was in the bag!

Nice hotel in a great location. Valet and bar service were excellence. Our check-in experience was not so good as our room wasn't ready until well after check-in time, and the front desk acted like we were a burden. And though the room was nice, the shower labor water pressure and the sink was cracked in multiple places. A few tweaks could make this place excellent and worth the high price they charge. Until then, it's hard to justify the price.

This hotel was beautiful and had the best service. It started when I pulled in to check in. The valet personnel helped unload my luggage and loaded onto a cart. The young man gave me my valet receipt and gave me instructions for checking in and receiving my luggage. The check-in was smooth, and shortly after arriving in my room, my bags were delivered and unloaded.
I enjoyed my stay in a room with a view of the river and the Mobile Convention Center. I would recommend staying there if you don't mind the price per night. It is well worth it.

Great hotel close to everything!!! What Casey was so helpful and friendly acre to help no matter what we had questions about if it was about the city, food location, etc.! Can't wait to stay again next year!

I’m currently staying at this hotel for a convention. I came in this morning and on the way to my room I asked the front desk attendant Kim if they had water. She didn’t say one word but turned and walked away however she did return with two water bottles. I then said thank you and once again no response. Once I made it to my room I called the front desk and told her that I felt that she could have been nicer at the minimum she should have greeted me. Her response was, “oh I’m sorry I will report myself to my manager” and I advised her to not trouble herself because I most definitely would be reporting her. I spend THOUSANDS of dollars with Marriott yearly due to both work and personal travel and I have never been treated so poorly. Maybe my dollars would be better spent and appreciated at a different hotel chain!
