Of course it’s a two star rating!!!! Just wanted a reasonable decent room for the night (It was New years) because I wasn’t driving 3 hours to Dallas. I thought “this can’t be that bad, and by the looks of it, I’d say it’d be a nice, not to boujee yet comfortable place to take a shower, lay in bed, watch the ball drop and get some good rest. And upon paying, when I heard $65 plus tax, I couldn’t believe my ears lol these rooms are ran through with the local meth users(it’s horrible in Lawton) traffic all day and night, drug busts, shootings, and so on! You get the picture. So let’s just say I was shocked a place like this would charge that much, and a $20 deposit. lol I just agreed and I was tired and I wanted to relax. Dude gives me my key (electronic) I go to my room and the key doesn’t even work because they won’t get new or newer ones and I’m guessing the magnetic strip on them is wearing thin by the looks of them. That’s not important tho. Just shows where the greed comes in later as well. So dude comes back out with a new key, try’s the door, no luck. Tried 7 or 8 more times and then it works. Ummmmm so, this is sketchy. Needless to say I can handle my own so I wasn’t too concerned lol. Get in the room, I notice dirt and what looked like dried up blood on the sheets, instantly grossed out and took them off because at this point I’m just tired and I brought my blankets from home so I thought illl just sleep on them. Get to the mattress…… you don’t even wanna know. This place, let alone bed, probably hasn’t been vacuumed or wiped down since they’ve had it. Crumbs everywhere fingernails just absolute discussed and again charging $65 plus tax plus a $20 deposit. So I change the bed and take a shower the hot water bear gets hot, And barely any pressure, at this point, I’m literally thinking I bought Motel hell room. Get dried off and go to get in bed and turn the TV on and watch the ball drop and guess what doesn’t work? You guessed it the cable box HDMI cord was all crazy looking from whatever previous people have been trying to do it lol Neighbors were extremely loud all night, which I understand it was new year, so that’s not even where the issue is here. Usually at most hotels check out at 11 but most let you check out at 12 or 1230, and I usually check out at 11 but for some reason, I was just super tired today and checked out at 12:30 not only did they knock at my door three times to let me know it was checkout time. I definitely wasn’t trying to stay or catch a free ride anywhere so that was a bit annoying, not to mention why on earth would they want me out? It’s not like they clean the place. Lol So then I go to turn my key in and I asked if the $20 deposit was gonna be put back on my card in a few days and she said no I don’t get the $20 deposit because I checked out late lmao I’ve literally never heard something like that. I mean I’m sure thing at other places, but I literally was just kinda dragging today and it wasn’t like they were at full capacity not one bit. And then all those things that were wrong with the place I just asked for some recommendations and she literally Looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language and told me I wouldn’t be getting my money back. I mean 20 bucks is 20 bucks, it’s not the end of the world lol it’s the audacity that I have a problem with and this scam that these people are running!! Definitely do not recommend and they will probably be going out of business along with the other road motels around here.Its clear they needed the money more than I did, but when you run off greed and no actual hospitality in the actual hospitality business, things tend to not work out in your favor. Definitely not a good way to start 2025! But good luck! lol

The manager is friendly and helpful, the rooms are always clean and well kept. I've stayed a few times here and the place looks great and they have done a lot of improvements. If I need anything, I've never had a problem with getting great friendly service. I would highly recommend.

Don't let the appearance fool you it looks like a typical motel and could use some TLC cosmetic wise but our stay was great between the honesty of the staff and the cleanliness we were very surprised! Anyone having to stay in Lawton on a budget don't let the looks stop you from trying relax inn. My white socks didn't turn black from the floors, all surfaces were spotless, and even though the shower was small in our room the water pressure was great! The honesty is something that made this even better first the guy was honest about some issues with a smoking room we requested and allowed us to change to a non smoking room which was a blessing with small children and then my nephew left his phone in a drawer after we left and noticed the next morning we were able to call and the Manager located it and is sending it to us by mail. Overall my husband was not impressed at first sight but he was quickly proved wrong. We were very impressed for what we paid and are recommending relax in to anyone on a budget don't hesitate try them.

This a a cheap motel and I knew that going in. I just needed a place to sleep, ya know.

Check in was easy. I can tell this is a small business and I'm happy to support a small business just doing what they can to stay afloat. It wasn't super busy here the night we stayed.

Location wise it seems the road can get busy and loud during the day but at night there is not nearly as much traffic and it quiets down. It seemed pretty close to anything we wanted to visit.

The room is kinda small and I'm sure it was not renovated in several years. The carpet had stains all over, the paint was chipping off the walls in some areas and had a yellowed hugh to it. The smell of chemicals upon entering the room was a bit overwhelming to me but eventually that calmed down.

There is an a/c unit in the room, easy to control and worked well. The shower gets incredibly hot and stays hot. There is a small fridge and microwave in there should someone need it.

The bed sheets were clean but the bed was not comfortable. I tossed and turned all night as it either made my arms go numb or made my lower back hurt.

The location was not the best but they had a room available and the price was right. For 2 people, I paid $57+ tax for one night.

This is a great motel. The owner is very nice. It was a very fast check in process. The rooms were nice a big and the shower had great hot water. The bed was super comfortable and warm. The floor and walls were kept well cleaned. Also the staff was awesome. The price was awesome. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The room was clean(NO BED BUGS), basic needs were met, the front desk staff were wonderful, and helpful. Location looks iffy but ppl were very chill/ or just didn't bother anyone; neighbor motels maybe had cops but Relax inn was a great choice for us. Great price 👍 if your short on funds and just trying to get started it could be worse

This is an old old roadside motel that has been cleaned up and modernized. The check in was easy and straight forward and the fella on duty was very nice. The room was clean and for the money was what I expected. My only issue was the smell of the disinfectant I assume they are using... I could smell the stuff all the next day after checking out and driving home. All in all it was quiet and the door locked so I was good to go. Oh, it had a jacuzzi tub to boot. Although I wasn't interested in finding out how well it worked lol. So... Not great but not bad 😉.
