Typical small town breakfast and lunch spot. American style food. I eat here often and never had a bad meal. The chicken fried steak breakfast with hahbrowns is delicious and filling.

I ate here on Saturday, May 31 2025. Service was adequate, not stellar considering there were other servers available and only 4 other tables at the time I was there, 11am.
I had the 'A LA Mexicana' Omelet that came with Buttered Toast and Hash Browns. Everything was OK except the Hash Browns which were undercooked and soggy. So, if you like your Hash Browns undercooked and soggy, this is the place to go. And don't forget to give it 5 stars for the undercooked and soggy Hash Browns.

It was pretty good and the prices are reasonable. I got a Denver omelet. When you make a Denver you don't want chunks of peppers that are much twice the size of a quarter because all you get is a mouthful of peppers. Everything should be cut the same size so you don't get a mouthful of one thing or another. It's just somebody being lazy. The Omelette was definitely on the small side too

I come here when I need a buffalo wing fix. Nice and hearty wings with a good traditional buffalo flavor. I feel the portion is bigger than most places. My grandma likes their grilled cheese because it comes with tomatoes inside well and because grilled cheese is just so yummy. Friendly staff. Haven't tried much else but there's always people eating here.

I recently dined at Redwoods Cafe and was appalled by the behavior of the cook. Not only does he have a complete lack of respect for the waitresses and hostess, but his constant yelling creates a hostile environment. It was uncomfortable to witness as he berated the girls over trivial mistakes. It's hard to enjoy a meal when the kitchen atmosphere is so toxic. I won’t be returning, as no one deserves to be treated that way. I can visibly notice the girls working get uncomfortable and upset by him, it’s absolutely just unacceptable.
