Red Sands was clean, modern, and efficient. Staff were responsive. Room was clean , large, and comfortable. Spa was very nice. I had a deep tissue massage to work out the kinks from days of hiking in national parks. We also did a two person hot tub soak. The massage was amazing but super expensive. Not sure it was the best value but it was very helpful.

What a wonderful experience. Clean accommodations and property. Friendly staff. Nice amenities. Great location. The yoga room is large and perfect for unwinding. Also, super great coffee 24x7. We were in the remodeled wing and it was terrific. Wake up early and go outside and breathe in the fresh mountain air.

Wanted to love it, but could not. View in the back is stellar and when we arrived I loved that view. We went in the spa and sat outside and that was nice. Room ok. Looks dated and the beds have imprints where people sleep. Bathroom clean but hate having the sink outside the bathroom with the lights facing the bed. Upset with my laundry being removed from washer by desk person. started the 26 minute load at 415 pm and it ended at 441. I was there at 445. He pointed to a sign that said unattended laundry would be removed after an hour. It was 4 minutes after load was finished. Noise from other guests noticeable -both speaking and walking! Windy weather and the wind coming through the window making whooshing noise. |Dinner in the restaurant was marginal. Most of the food was microwaved and not fresh. Burger patties frozen. Baked potato wedges cold and definitely not ‘baked’. Cheesecake frozen at the thickest part and warm crust. Staff friendly enough but did not make up for the mediocre food. I would neither return nor recommend.

Red Sands was an amazing stay for our visit to Capital Reef Park! They really thought of everything to support your visit. In addition to the room being comfortable and clean, they had a wonderful coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar opened 24/7. They offered apples each day which were perfect for a hiking day. They even had blankets available to borrow for outside at night. We had a wonderful stay there!!

Revisits poses the question’Will it be as good as I remember?’ YES and it was even better! Outstanding customer service and a warm return welcome from Kelly and Amy the senior staff. Plenty amenities in the facility including fabulous Spa with hot tub looking onto Boulder Mountain. Wonderful for aches after long days hiking. Substantial rooms with all you need. Features a large yoga room with stunning panorama onto Boulder Mountain. The Inn annually brings in foreign students from the far east to spend a year working. It is an attribute to Kim and Amy’s leadership that despite the international variation in background all of them are the epitome of customer service. |Thank you we look forward to our next visit!

Good location with good views. Rooms decent size but dated. Noisy hotel. Heard people walking above us. Anyone showering in the rooms next to or above us we could hear. Heard someone snoring next door. Restaurant mediocre-food frozen and microwaved not fresh. Staff nice, however.

We loved the pool and hot tub. After several days of hiking, we were thrilled that there was a laundry room. Great room and bed. Shower was great. View from the room was very nice. Good location. |Unfortunately, the food in the restaurant was barely eatable. Eat somewhere else.

The bed was very very comfortable. But we were on a ground floor room and it was like elephants were above us. they had fan on til late at night and were up before 6am trampling around. it wasnt good.|In addition we wanted to cook our own meals in our king suite. there was one knife and not enough cutlery. the plates were dirty in the cupboard. we had no tee towel or dishcloth. there was no dining table.|The layout of the king suite was unusual. ||the views are beautiful, but from our experience i would only recommend a top floor room

Beautiful, Clean, accommodating, like being in your own farmhouse with views of sheep, cows, horses and gorgeous mountains! We travel around southern utah a lot and after our scenic byway route 24 (gorgeous) from bluff up to this hotel we love it with our dog. Door in room right out to patio and down onto greet the horse and walk the dog. Perfect beautiful extra large room, teice size of other hotels. We really love this place. Great little deli three min away also. Great job guys!

We had a very nice day here. We booked a cathedral room, which had a lovely view overlooking the pastures with the red cliffs in the distance. Every staff member that we came into contact with was extremely friendly and professional. They were nice touches in the room like the remote being in a sanitized bag and then the cute little ice bucket. Also thought the bathrooms were cute. We were able to enjoy the pool area and found it nice, especially the view out the back and then the nice sitting deck area. The spa looked inviting, but we did not have time to do that. I will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area. It’s between the town and capital reef, but close to both.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The patio in the morning was lovely and peaceful. The location is excellent—close to town and close to the park. The food and service at the restaurant were outstanding. And I simply cannot say enough about the massage I had. Esther was my massage therapist and it was hands-down the best massage I have ever had. She zeroed in on some painful knots in my upper back and shoulders with surgical precision and eliminated pain and tightness I’ve had for years! She has some seriously strong hands. The service and amenities at the spa were unexpected for a small town and just incredible. I loved the steam room after my massage. Please treat yourself during your stay—so worth it!

An old hotel that has been nicely renovated with a rustic western theme. Has very low water pressure though, so showering might take a little longer than normal. Has a fire pit outside, sitting area, and the back half of the building has a nice view of the mountains. There is an onsite restaurant that serves very good food as well.

The Red Sands is located close to Capitol Reef National Park, which I was exploring, so it was quite convenient. It is a modern hotel with plenty of parking, right off of the main road. Rooms are clean and check-in was quick and easy (I was there off-season). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was really excellent...I had dinner there as I'd had enough driving for one day and the staff and food were both of high quality. But there are also a few restaurants nearby as well. I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you are seeing Capitol Reef. Very enjoyable stay.
