Second time we are staying here. Room was clean - bed was comfortable - staff very courteous. Mostly remodeled. Room was quiet. Convenient location. Coming from the hotel industry we tend to be very critical and know the ins and outs. The fact that our dog is free is huge! Also nice to have work station.

A great spot for a quick stop. It is an older hotel and their effort to make affordable updates to provide a pleasant stay at an affordable price is obvious. The room was clean and smelled fresh. There is plenty of parking and it is well lit. The area appeared quiet and safe.

This location is close to the airport with easy access to gas, eateries and the highway.

I will note that the entrance is very bright and spacious. The Jamaican gentleman (cannot recall his name) was extremely kind especially at such a late hour.

One improvement I would suggest is consider adding continental breakfast or simple grab and go pastries. There is plenty of space in the lobby.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! This place was an outrage! Not worth two pennies in my opinion. My 86 years old grandmother was charged full price after her three day visit here with NO WORKING TOILET THE ENTIRE TIME! They told her she could come get the plunger from the front when she asked to be moved to another room. This was during the power outage last October so Grandma had no choice but to stay if she wanted to be air conditioned. My mother even called after the fact and asked them to comp a day off her bill or some kind of discount for her major inconvenience and they refused. The girl at front desk nastily told them it was too bad for her and she must pay full price for the terrible stay AND then when asked for their corporate number the lady replied she doesn't know it🤨😑😳Guess this is their corporate number now...

Stayed on night at this Red Roof Inn. My husband and I are sticklers for reading and comparing reviews when looking for a place to stay. Our major concern when looking is bugs in the rooms. This was a simple, but nice place at a good price. The lady we checked in with allowed us to look at the room before paying for the night. The room was clean and absolutely no bugs. The ac worked great and the water pressure in both the shower and sink was awesome. The outside was very quiet, peaceful, and clean. We wound up staying a second night. We would definitely stay here again if and when we come through Savannah again. Our ONLY concern with our stay was that the bathroom door stuck and had to be shoved to get closed. This wasn't a big deal for us, but wanted to bring it to their attention so they can get it fixed.

This place is a joke. It’s one of the more affordable motels in the area. However, if it’s going to be a lengthy stay pay more elsewhere so you’ll have less of a headache. They boast about a hassle-free stay but we had pretty consistent hassle from this place. It was something every week. It seems like it’s poorly managed and those at the front desk don’t communicate to each other properly. The housekeeping is a bumbling old man who will knock on your door despite having up a privacy sign. A nightmare for those who work at night. The location is horrendous due to the traffic on 21. I will say that it’s surprisingly quiet despite being next to a busy main road. You will have to deal with random homeless people wandering the property and sometimes camped out on the stairs.

An older hotel along the interstate. Arrived at 10pm on a rainy Saturday night after a day of driving. I made a reservation online and it still took 15 minutes to check in. And I was the only person in the lobby.

The room had an odor to it. The bathroom walls had raw spackle without paint. The tub diverter valve was broken, every time I tried to pull for a shower it would blow off into the tub.

Normally I would ask for a new room but it was late, and seeing the general condition of the building, I didn’t hold out hope a new room would be better.

Positive side. No sign of bugs or critters in the room. Bed was reasonably comfortable.

edit to add: new owner is off, keep your curtains drawn at all times while here, he has a habit of looking in. Let’s get into it. Maid cannot do the job in a timely manner do to lack of maintenance, lack of proper machinery to wash sheets, and towels to get rooms done fast and efficiently. It’s always a waiting game for fresh sheets or towels. If you stay here longer than a day you can see the flaws throughout. There is not a vending machine of any kind on site. Nor is there breakfast of any kind served here. The price per week goes up unexpectedly (when they do not have the proper amenities) and they don’t tell you until you ask why was I charged a higher amount. Very rough around the edges this property. Many places to get hurt and it is not taped off nor addressed. I don’t know what is going on here.

staff was friendly and the bedsheets looked clean. I didn't see any bugs. That was the good for our one night stay.
The room was dingy, smelled dirty, and the bathroom was unforgivable. The toilet rocked from the base, the shower was so bad that we didn't feel comfortable taking a shower in it, the paint was peeling off the walls and there was a door connecting the room next to us that we could clearly hear the people next to us, while they were at a reasonable volume. the room smelled like they were attempting to cover some smell with bleach.
