The hotel is in a convenient spot with easy freeway access and plenty of stores nearby. The room was tidy and came with useful amenities like a microwave and mini fridge, but the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. I also noticed quite a few homeless individuals around, which made the area feel a little uneasy at times. On the bright side, check-in was quick, and the staff was welcoming. If you’re looking for an affordable stay with basic comforts, this place does the job, but don’t expect anything fancy.

I stay at this hotel when I'm in town for my monthly visits to my elderly mother...
This place has always been clean, friendly, safe, reliable and reasonably priced compared to the other hotels in this part of town... It's my home 3 days out of the month... Not necessarily the cheapest, but those cheaper places come at a price of much uncertainty...
Yes, there are homeless down on Bell, but that's a problem in many parts of the Phoenix metro...
There's a supermarket across Bell that's convenient for supplies during my stays, and plenty of restaurants in a 3 mile radius for a quick bite...
I'll be back again about a week from now...

I’m a nomadic traveler that works/lives on the road. Throughout the years of living in Phoenix from time to time, I’ve always stopped by this redroof location. Out of all the discount Inns I’ve stayed at in the country. This one is the best!

-Rooms are always clean. If I have an issue, it’s resolved immediately.
-The furniture looks brand new.
-Their rewards system is more generous than others.
-This one is privately owned, adding to the level of service.
-There is security that walks the parking lot. I have felt safe here.
10/10 I love staying at this location. If they had monthly stays, I’d pay it!

The customer service was terrible. The lady working the front desk was completely rude and made it clear that she hates her job. Once inside the room, it was small and had a musky smell, however they are in the process of doing renovations so that could be part of the smell? Overall the hotel did its job providing a simple basic room JUST FOR SLEEPING. If you’re looking for more than just sleeping then maybe this place isn’t for you.

The hotel isn’t bad itself it’s clean, good location, quiet I’d have to say it’s the staff where the problems occur of course one supervisor name George and one employee MariCruz as well as another employee who I forget his name unfortunately. All seem to have a patterns of being rude to people of their choosing for some reason I’m not sure if it’s plain discrimination or just bad days they are caught on, they’re seeming to create rules on their own in the hotel policy and when questioned or asked about it they just try to threaten people or scare them by saying there going to kick u out the hotel so I guess just definitely do what they say if u want to enjoy ur stay and don’t ask questions lol seems to always get them upset!

I recently stayed at Red Roof Inn and unfortunately had a disappointing experience due to poor communication and mishandling of our reservation. While we were away for the day, the hotel moved us to a different room without any prior notification. We returned in the evening to find our room given to someone else and our belongings in the Lobby. Once assigned a new room we noticed that some of our belongings were missing.
Despite notifying the front desk immediately, the items were never recovered.

What’s most frustrating is that this situation could have been easily avoided if we’d been informed of the room change beforehand. We’ve reached out to the hotel for assistance or compensation for the lost items, but so far, they have done nothing to make up for our missing items and we haven’t received a satisfactory response.

I’m sharing this review in hopes that the hotel will take guest communication more seriously and handle belongings more carefully during any future room moves. This experience left us disappointed, and we hope management will address these issues moving forward.

The Red roof itself was clean (even though they left old socks from the previous tenant that I saw when i was leaving). It's the area that's the problem. Good luck walking towards the waffle house. You have to pass the tunnel of the homeless where some are doing drugs. It is homeless city in this area. Never know when drugs come into play. Not family friendly. Don't save the money to go here if you don't need to. If you must, may be okay, just know the tunnel of the homeless awaits you. They were nice to me lol.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The staff are thieves! I just read it happened to someone else here 6 days earlier. My fiancé stayed there and had a medical episode. He was on the phone with a buddy when it happened who called front desk to do a wellness check. Either him or hotel called paramedics. When he was discharged from hospital next day he got to his room door was open all of his belongings out of his suitcase were thrown all over the room, he had my suitcase with him as I was flying in it was completely gone. Cash gone out of his wallet keys and truck stolen. We totally feel the female at front desk was involved in it. Also during the day he returned and found maid in room when he had do not disturb sign on the door
