Roaches. All over the shower and room. Shower took 20+ minutes to get hot and this is when I saw the roaches all over the room. I thought it was just the shower, but they are everywhere. This place needs serious pest control, I understand that we are in the south but this was infested!!! I literally left with wet hair after running out of the shower.

Update: there is no way that they have Orkin come out once a week. These roaches were more than a week old and Orkin uses IGR which is a growth regulator that will stop the life cycle of the roaches and the eggs.

If you need recommendations on big spray, I can point you to what I use. I had to treat my stuff and my car for roaches at 4 am because of this place. It's gross!

We stayed there in December 2024 for 1 night. It used to be our regular stop doing a road trip to Florida. It was passable for a 1 night stay. Sadly, it doesn't appear that the front desk pays much attention to loud noise and/or loud conversation coming from rooms past midnight. It's very likely that the staff don't want to get involved. This loud conversation took place on the main floor near the front desk area. It would be impossible for anyone on the main floor to not hear the noise. The idea of finding a place that's clean, safe, affordable and quiet appears to be non-existent.

I understand that this is a 2-star hotel, but even basic cleanliness should be a given. Unfortunately, my stay here was marred by several issues that were hard to overlook. The shelving in the room was covered in dust and dirt, making it clear that it had been a while since it had been properly cleaned. Worse still, the towels provided were in poor condition—each one had visible hairs on them, and there was even a used towel still hanging in the shower. As for the floor, it was filthy—definitely not something you expect in any hotel room.

All I was hoping for was a clean bed for a quick stay, but this was far from acceptable. I’ve stayed in budget hotels before, but this experience didn’t even meet the most basic expectations of cleanliness. I would strongly recommend the management address these cleanliness issues before I, or anyone else, would consider returning.

Amy checked Ruckus (my dog) any my self in, she was extremely helpful and very kind, this red roof inn is very close to lots of food and shopping. We got a deluxe full bed room, it was super clean, smelled amazing and the bed was very comfortable, I’m extremely happy.

Me and my fiancée came in for the holidays for weekend , and everytime we turned around the room we got was infected with roaches , we have had 3 rooms and each room had roaches , yall have to do better . Only reason we even stopped here is bc it’s holidays and we are traveling it’s convenient but this is the last stay never again .! Then I tell guest service and they ask have we touched anything so they can re rent the room out like why would you want to rent it back out a different room that’s not infected is ok but to have to run in to roaches each night it pitiful and to not even get compensated on the trouble we haveing is ridiculous no second chance this was the second chance and yall failed . I need my money back at this point . Like ain’t no way I just experienced this yo . Around holidays is crazy don’t respond saying your sorry either please bc yall should have fixed it first time

I don’t understand your comment/solution as I talked to the front desk and they are the ones (both evening and morning staff) that told me the Red Roof decided four years ago to stop providing breakfast.

Please ensure your web site as well as google maps has the updated information

Jan 2025 update: increased my rating on both rooms and service after this stay. A great value and nice updated place. Only issue is they still advertise breakfast is included but they haven’t had breakfast at this location for years. Need to update their web site and info on google maps.

It was a good stay, but I don't see how it had 8 star plus reviews. I would give it about a 6. I loved the super friendly pet policy!! Thank you thank you! The dog area out back was nice as it was woods.

The bed and linens were good. The shower was nice just took a while to get hot. The room was clean, but it had a smell...not sure what it was. The walls in hallway & my room needed repair. There's only 1 washer/dryer and its in a small space with the ice machine. Its hard to get to ice when someone's doing laundry. Im not sure why breakfast area is closed after breakfast as the appliances are not available like the toaster. It was closed with a sign and chairs blocking it so it was not very classy. There's nowhere to sit except a table by the elevator.

There's very little counter space in the room except for the desk which is a rollout short table. There are no plugins for rhe desk area. You have to unplug the lamp, which was a nice lamp. Lighting was good in the room. The frosted glass separating the bed/bath was cool, but if someones in bathroom at night, the whole room has light. The phone could receive calls but not make them.

I also had a hard time finding it since its behind a gas station lot without a sign on the road.

Employees were great, just one sherrif type as the manager for morning shift, but she was mild.

These are fairly mild complaints, but it was good overall.

Absolutely fantastic experience at the Red Roof Inn in Locust Grove, GA! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the incredibly professional and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Their training and dedication to customer service were evident in every interaction. Super convenient located right off I75.

The rooms were impeccably clean and recently renovated, offering a fresh and modern feel. Every detail, from the comfortable bedding to the spotless bathroom, showed their commitment to maintaining high standards. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, making it the perfect home away from home.

I don’t typically write reviews, but this experience was above and beyond my usual experience at a moderately priced motel. We highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a top-notch stay in the area. Kudos to the Red Roof Inn team for their outstanding service and hospitality!
