Staff are very polite and sincere. They are always helpful and never have any problem attending to the necessities that I need. The locking mechanism on my door jammed and the door wouldn't close even the door handle had to be takin apart they had it taking care of that day. I've been staying here for almost two months and I have no complaints other than the police harassing many of the guests who stay here when they are coming and going because of the area. All in all it's a very friendly place with a very friendly atmosphere...Room 223

I had a 2 day reservation paid in advance. I had to come on the second day and the hotel canceled my reservation with no notification as they said it was a no show. Now I'm stuck trying to find a hotel room with a huge tournament in town. I will likely have to pay a premium for another hotel room or sleep in my rental car. When I got upset with them for canceling the cleaning lady got condescending saying have a nice night God bless being a total smart ass. Never ever stay here it's trash just like the employees with their disrespect.

Terrible staff and management. Refused to refund after booking a room and asking for reasonable accommodation for a ground level room for mobility/fall risk concerns. Attempted to count working service dogs as pets as well. Do NOT stay here. We were literally there for a total of 15 minutes and never set foot into a room while being berated and talked down to on a cell phone by a manager.

My young children and I were in town for a dance competition and this hotel was the closest one to the center. We checked in at 3 PM quickly got ready and headed to the Dayton Masonic Center. When we returned from competition at approximately 9:30 at night my son pointed out that there was a trash bag over top of the smoke detector. He asked what it was for, and I told him somebody was probably trying to smoke in the room. I had homework do that evening so I did it and went to shut the door and lock it for us to go to bed and the door appeared to have been kicked in and not repaired. Neither one of the locks would lock and I did not feel safe staying there. I went to the front desk and did not go in because I did not see anybody sitting there and I did not want to leave my young children sitting in a car in a questionable neighborhood. I tried calling that night and Nobody answered. I tried calling the next morning and Nobody answered yet again. It was when they charged my card $200 for a supposed smoking fee That it took me almost an hour and a half to get to somebody that would actually listen. The lady at the front desk continued to scream and yell and talk over me and would not listen to anything that I had to say. I explained to her that I do not smoke and I have not been a smoker for almost 16 years. Needless to say everyone I talked to pertaining to red roof was not very helpful or seemed concerned. I should have spent the extra $50 and stayed at nice hotel with clean sheets and someone who has customer service experience.

I am a FREQUENT QUEST of Red Roof! I know what I am talking about! The SENSOR to the television was MISSING! The SENSOR controls the volume of the television. I am disabled and use a wheel chair. I need to be on the first floor, as there are no elevators. I KNOW what a sensor is! I had the same problem at another location! The YOUNG staff knew EXACTLY what the problem was. At the Red Roof in Moraine the females at the front desk had no idea what they were talking about and insisted that it was a REMOTE problem! No, it is NOT a REMOTE problem! The SENSOR controls the volumne. The woman said, "I will come down and take a phot of what's missing." I asked, "How can you take a photo of something that is NOT there!" On the television in the lobby the sensor is clearly there attached to the television. I was told I could be moved to another room. I still have additional days, I am disabled, ill and I really don't want to have to repack and move because they don't know what they are talking about!

There is standing water in the bathroom next to the tub. All in all, I live through hell so being indoors, with a nice big warm bed, microwave, fridge, desk, table, running water, I consider this pretty good compared to what I have to deal with. There IS an ironing board, hair dryer AND iron!!! There was NO BATH MAT or SMALL towel that they use in other Red Roof's.

The door has about a .25 inch gap all the way around that allows the cold air to blast in. Guess no one cares or has ever heard of weather stripping!

On top of that I had to call about three different pizza places before I could find one who delivers here! Because of the times now, some people find they are FORCED to frequent these hotels. A bad hotel is better than sleeping in the woods in the snow! It really is too bad the front desk isn't trained to know how technology works and the woman said the GENERAL manager said, "If the sensor is not there the TV won't work!" NOT TRUE!!!

This hotel is gross! The floor of my room was sticky. I tried to clean it and came up with a black cloth. There was dirt and hair in the bathtub. The bed wasn't fully prepped, the a/c unit was dismantled, and didn't work. There were no tissues in the room and no trashcan. I didn't stay. I waited in the lobby for 30 min to speak to a desk clerk who never showed. I finally just left.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed at. The sink was broken, the toilet seat was broken, there was a hole in the bathroom door, and the toilet/bathroom wasn’t very clean. They ask you for 50 dollars in case you trash the room, but the room was already trashed when I got there. I think it was planned so they could keep my 50 dollars. I gave them a 100 and the guy at the counter seemed reluctant to give me my change for it. It’s best just to spend a bit more money for a nicer and more trustworthy place.

I have several pictures to verify but this room is beyond reproach. The lock on my door is held together with tape. And the top lock has nothing to anchor to. I slept with a chair against the door because I felt unsafe.

There’s a significant breeze coming in because the door wont properly seal and the heater is broken. Both the display on the heater is broken and the unit itself will not turn on and I was freezing. I took sheets off the other bed to stay warm.

There are also hairs everywhere and a dead bug on the floor. There is still trash from a previous occupant in the trash and no liner.

This room is unsafe and uncomfortable and unclean and I want a refund.
