Out of the cheaper priced hotels in the area I think this is definitely one of the better ones that I have stayed at. The staff is very nice and accommodating and our room was clean. Unlike most of the cheaper hotels around here at this one I felt safe at and didn't see any sketchy people hanging out anywhere inside or out and it was actually very quiet. This location is way better than the one on Miller lane where I would never take my teenager daughter with me to stay at again due to the questionable people and activities that go on there but not this location. I felt completely safe and comfortable here. The room was clean and had no issues worth mentioning that I noticed. I really it was a good stay and I'd come back again

We were in town for 1 day to attend the WGI World Championship Finals held at the University of Dayton and wasn't looking to spend much just for an overnight stay. The venue at the arena was sold out so many places were fully booked with the exception of a few other Red Roof locations that were also in close proximity. The ratings and reviews for this particular location in Huber Heights looked better to us in making our final decision on which location for our stay. Now for our opinions of the rooms and property.....The front desk clerk was friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The TV in the room needs to be bigger. The pillows need to be fuller and firmer. The bathroom needs to have hair conditioner, not just shampoo. Body wash for bathing, not just bar soap and the entire outside of the building could use an awning. We enjoyed our nice, relaxed, quiet, and peaceful stay and would recommend this location.

I will never stay at this hotel after seeing that they have a lock on their lobby after it gets dark. I have stayed at numerous hotels when traveling, and deliver to most hotels in this area. There is something big wrong with your location if you have to lock your lobby! And the last thing I want to do is stay in a hotel in an area with trashy people that require a locked door.

Get with the program! Even the hotel right behind you, comfort inns doesn't lock their darn doors!!!!!!!!!!

Overall a great stay. Cost effective, we payed a little under $80 for a room with two queen beds. No conditioner provided but there was shampoo, body wash, a face wash stick, and towels! We arrived at 11:00 pm to check in and the front desk was quite accommodating, though we needed to wait a moment for the attendant to arrive. Would come here again if I was in the area!

The location is very good and the rooms were clean. The key cards worked sporadically at best and the doors in the 2 rooms I booked were very tight and difficult to open. Coffee was only available in the morning which wouldn’t have been an issue had the Tom Horton’s beside the motel not been so outrageously expensive. My biggest issue is not with this particular location, but Red Roof itself. Booked and paid for 2 separate rooms using 2 separate reservations and was only given reward points for 1 reservation. Not only did I not get reward points for my second room but I lost out on RedRoof’s ‘2 stays, 1 free night’ promotion. I’ve been using RedRoof Inn for years, but I’m officially done with them and their games.

This review is a little tough for me. I like to focus on the good in places. I was in the area for a concert. I booked the room quickly online and booked the wrong day. They were very nice about it and adjusted for a $5 difference. I chose this place because it was rated more highly than some of the other ones and the price was fantastic. I knew I didn't care about anything more than a clean place to sleep because I was there for the concert and leaving in the morning. I can't stress enough that the front desk staff was very nice. I also know how expensive hotels are anymore and knew I wasn't going to be getting anything fancy. However, this part pains me to write because I see they reply.
I don't mind that the building is older and outdated. What bothered me was my room was pretty gross. The sheets are old and had wear spots. The comforter had odd stains all over it. The lampshades were all crooked ( I fixed that. That annoys me) and the one in the corner didn't work because the outlet was falling out of the wall. There was a significant amount of crud in the corners, and the textured walls had perhaps a booger just chilling out on the wall above the nightstand. I'm obsessed with checking for bed bugs. There were none. The mattresses has new, clean, mattress covers so checking was easy. The dust ruffles had stains on them, as did the carpets. The bathroom was tiny, but just fine. Clean enough, the towels were clean. The drawers could use a vacuuming. They had crumbles of some kind in all of them. The hallway trim was extremely dusty.
It's across the street from a Waffle House, maybe 6 mins from that Rose music center and close to the highway, so it's pretty convenient to things there.
If you just need a cheap place to stay, this will do the job. It could definitely be cleaned more thoroughly. If it were even in the realm of reasonably clean, then it would have almost been old school charming.

Just got here today the staff was very friendly and very kind, there was a mix up between online customer service when I made the reservation but the lady and gentleman were extremely kind and helpful. We're currently looking for housing and are having to stay at hotels for now and this was a pleasant experience I suffer from CPTSD and they made this experience much easier. I am very satisfied the room was clean had linens smelled clean too. I recommend this place for sure.

So I booked this motel based on the “good” reviews posted by other individuals who have stayed here. That was a mistake!||The Motel Building: fairly unappealing square building on the same lot as the Comfort Inn and Tim Hortons||Check In: typical check in process with the front desk Indian man (who wasn’t the most friendly person). Thankfully, it was a smooth and quick process. ||The Room: Walked in and noted that it felt musty. Immediately turned on the A/C, which immediately kicked on. I booked a 2 Queen Bed room (Room 25) and went to sit/lay on one of the mattresses and noted how HARD the mattress felt. I could tell the mattresses were old/springy and the pillows were the WORST pillows I have ever layed my head upon. ||The Bathroom: the SMALLEST bathroom I have ever seen in a motel room! A bedroom closet seemed larger than this bathroom. The towels were the smallest towels I have seen in a motel room and smelled heavily of bleach. I looked at the tub/shower and noticed the SMALLEST showerhead I have ever seen in my life. Also, I noticed how low hanging the showerhead was on the wall. The water pressure was the WORST water pressure I have ever encountered in my life! ||*The road noise from the freeway was loud enough to hear in the room, which made for a noisy night and little sleep||Do yourself a favor and book yourself a better quality room, but if you are looking for a no-frill, budget room… then this is the place to stay
