The bad reviews are correct! It's pretty bad!

Walked into the the room on the lower level and it smelled like a basement. The floor was damp like other reviews stated. Pillows stained also like others stated in their reviews. AC filters never get cleaned. Water pressure was fine in the shower but it didn't get past warm!

Overall just felt dirty and definitely not a $100 a night hotel. More like in the $50 to $60 range. Under the bed frames mold, trash, and dead bugs. Clearly the room never gets a full service cleaning! Maybe the only plus was the TV worked! Came in for a quick place to stay the night. Would have expected better from a Red Roof in! Clearly their responses to reviews are just all talk because the problems are still not fixed.

The location was nice. Woody area around it. Not jam packed in by other buildings. But the outside of the building felt dirty too and not safe. Most reviews for all the surrounding fast food areas had 1 Star reviews. The hotel sits right next to a ATM but of course it was not working. It is in walking distance to the Pizza Hut right beside it.

Definitely would ould not stay again. Overall disappointed.

There were only 4 options for hotels in this area apparently. Looks can be deceiving when you're looking at the pictures of the rooms on your booking site. It never fails in some cases, the rooms either look horrible in person or they actually live up to the pictures. So let's start with the first impression of the hotel. I wasn't impressed but I was just going to give it the benefit of the doubt and hope the room looked better. There were 2 men that checked in before me. The guy at the front desk was very nice and welcoming with them but when it came time for my turn, it was like a switch turned off and he was very bland. I needed a walk in level room but he stated that they have been booked for 6 months and didn't have anything...yet he had just sold a walk in level room to the men before me. The pictures speak for themselves! I will not be staying here again.

My mother and I booked a room here to visit family. NEVER AGAIN! We went to our first room after a 13 hour long drive, unpacked and the ac was broken.. packed back up went to the office and she gave us a different room.. started to unpack again just to notice how utterly FILTHY the room was! We were absolutely shocked! The chair in the room had poop on it smeared, melted ice cream on the already very sticky dirty floors, the bath tub was dirty, dust and filth on the tables and the bedding was stained and looked like they just remake the beds when people leave and not change the bedding. The girl at the window was also completely filthy to the point her hair was full of grease! We were disgusted! We promptly checked out.. she didn’t even argue about it, I’m guessing they get this a lot and gave us a refund. So now we were on the search AGAIN after our exhausting trip! We finally found the Log cabin Inn and it was about the same price and was clean, comfortable and had wonderful customer service! So save yourself the aggravation and any sort of infection you could possibly get from this nasty place and book with Log Cabin Inn!!!! This location of Red Roof should be shut down and no I’m not kidding or being dramatic.. it’s truly that bad!

Had to stand outside at a window to check in. Dead roach on the floor as soon as I opened the door. Toilet was not seated on the floor right, it banged against the wall when I sat down. Any sort of water pressure needed made a high pitched whistling sound. Check out is 11, but housekeeping was knocking on the door at 9am to see if we'd checked out yet. No amenities.

They did me WRONG! I was homeless due to a house fire. I was at the hotel for over a month went to renew my week he said no due to a baseball tournament seriously!
He kick Me my dog and her 10 new born puppies out. Thanks BIG GUY you cost me my granpups my JOB & the RESPECT I had for you.

We where there for two nights and found the rooms clean and very nice. A lot nicer than the last motel in Bay Minette we stayed at. My brother is in a near-by nursing home and his family lives in Bay Minette so we will be coming back soon and Red Roof Inn Bay Minette is where we will stay.

Very outstanding room definitely helped us out with our animals, good customer service. Housekeeping was a plus as well.

Positive: Nothing checked out after 1st night expected a refund for 1 nights and should have received a refund for poor service no towels large glob of hair in tub dyed red maid reported did Not get to Bathroom! Had to ask for clean bed mattress pad. Negative: Did complain to staff who were polite and expected the complaint s !
