I have stayed at this hotel many times since 1978 and have always found it to be clean, comfortable, and quiet, even as it has aged. ||Unfortunately, this hotel is way past its prime and needs either a major remodel, or to be torn down. It is a beautiful building, but the rooms are in horrible shape, and are no longer clean or comfortable or quiet. We stayed in a room that stunk of age, had mold in the bathroom, lacked a shower curtain, did not have a secure door closure (the door moulding has swelled such that the door would not close all the way) and was not anywhere near worth the price we paid. ||We will not stay here again.

Front desk was very nice. Great view from lobby. Hotel is very outdated. Shower made squealing noise. Lots of stains on carpet. Mildew around shower. There was stains on door. Would definitely not stay again.

Right off the highway, which was nice. The cheap room and late check-in are the only reasons why it's not 1 star reviews. Old dried up dog shit on the balcony was gross, a few bugs 🐛 weren't the best, marks on the walls including one that they started to clean then f it makes me a bit worried. Will not be staying again the bed was uncomfortable to boot.

Needed a place to stay after having a plumbing problem at home. I was able to stay here the staff was great and the room was clean and very comfortable. One big plus is the pet policy, and I definitely would stay here again and would recommend the Pendleton Red Lion to my family and friends.

The front desk staff is great and the view is very nice. |We stayed here a few years ago and had a decent room but it seems that the room maintenance is not quite up to what it should be. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable but the ceiling in our room was sagging some, the desk was so wobbly you could not use it and there was previous damage that really should have been fixed. The restaurant is not open and hasn't been for quite some time.

It has a convenient, quiet location. The view to the back was very lovely. The rooms while not the newest were clean and provided for our needs. The Front Desk person who checked us in was personable and helpful. Room was reasonable priced. We would definitely stay there again.

On 10/8/24, I stayed at Red Lion Hotel in Pendleton, for the third time. Although this is an older property, I like it because the rooms are comfortable, as is the bed, and the building is well constructed, ensuring I get a good nights sleep without wearing earplugs. The employees working the front desk have always been very helpful and friendly, no matter how late I rolled in. As a single female traveler, I always feel safe here. I like that it’s directly across from my favorite gas station. I’ve never had the opportunity to use the pool, but they have a nice one. You can’t beat the location, which is directly off of the freeway. You can’t beat the price either! I’ll be back. 😊

Spiders, bedbugs and spiderwebs all over the room. Service 5 stars ⭐️, obsolete room. I don’t recommend, I don’t usually read reviews before booking. But I could be better at home since I live one hour away.
