Clean hotel, we stayed in the hotel not the older motel section which tends to get more poor reviews, so we enjoyed our stay. It’s winter and the heat worked great. Nice to have a fridge & microwave in our room. Our room was clean & quiet. Staff was nice & helpful. Nice tea & coffee area made it a warmer experience. We had cold & windy conditions. January is off season so less crowded & cheaper rates were a plus. Lots of cafes nearby and a very short drive to the Grand Canyon entrance. Pack lots of water and snacks because the convince stores are way overpriced (double), and get gas before you get here or you’ll be paying way more too. Cafe inside the park visitors center is way overpriced/expensive & had a boring menu.

The outside of the hotel doesn't look like much, but the inside has been redone and is very nice... clean and spacious! I would rate the double queen room that we had at 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. Every person that we met on the staff was very helpful and friendly. The town of Tusayan was quaint and supplied everything you could need close to the south rim of the Grand Canyon.

My partner and I stayed in the Red Feather Lodge and were incredibly surprised that this was only a 2-star hotel. After travelling for 2-months, we’ve stayed in 4-star hotels worse than this by a mile. The room had everything it needed - a comfortable bed, a TV to unwind, a heater/cooler unit to regulate the temperature and was generally very quiet. The self-service washers/driers were really cheap to use and we had no problems with access to the machines. They also have a dispensable machine with washing powder/drying sheets for extra convenience. Staff will exchange notes for coins so you can use said machines, and provide free tea, coffee and hot chocolate 24/7. It was a pleasant surprise, and a definite recommendation if looking to visit the Grand Canyon. It’s also a 30-40 minute drive the other direction to get on to Route 66 - so very ideally placed if you have a vehicle!
The staff were very friendly; we had a slight issue with our car, in which the staff helped look through their CCTV and reporting to the local sheriff.

This hotel offers fair pricing for what you get. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. One of the standout features is the 24-hour hot cocoa bar, which also has a nice selection of teas, including decaf options — a thoughtful touch. The lobby is spotless and welcoming, making the entire experience pleasant and relaxing. A solid five-star stay!

Best deal and I felt like it’s a great value for my money. Friendly staff! Clean rooms and they clean daily. We stayed five nights. Free cocoa, coffee and hot tea daily. Why pay huge prices elsewhere when this really is your best deal. If you need fancy then move on. If you need clean and good value this is your place. It’s super close to entrance of park.

Oct. 2024: 2 nights - very good location for visiting the Grand Canyon (only 10 minutes by car). nice and clean hotel. very friendly hotel staff. We really liked the coffee and tea bar opposite the reception (free and available 24 hours).

I can’t believe this is only a 2* hotel. The reception was lovely, with a burning log fire, and free tea, coffee and hot chocolate 247. The room was perfect, quiet, clean and spacious with a bathtub. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was in a great location to the Grand Canyon and discount was offered on a local restaurant. There was also free parking and laundry services at a very cheap rate. We couldn’t recommend the Red Feather Lodge enough!

Friendly from the moment we walked in. Felt like a family run establishment. Check-in was perfect and quick. Our room was perfect, not plush but well equiped. Bathroom, shower and facilties were super clean and had what we needed and well designed with plenty of lighting. Room was spotless clean. Maids were nice and helped us. Coffee and tea service is great. We did not miss not have a breakfast. Location is very close to the park entrance and had lots of restaurant choices within walking distance. Overall, it could not have been a more perfect experience. Thanks to all the hotel staff for being so nice.
