The best thing I can say about Rancho Vegano is the absolute warmth and kindness we received from our hosts. My wife and I stayed for a three nights for our wedding anniversary, and it was wonderful experience. Good food, good views, good hosts, good room, good pool - what more is there to say? I highly recommend this place if you ever want a little respite from Tucson city life. It is so quiet and peaceful, life just seems to slowly pass by. And that is just fine.

Third time at Rancho Vegano in the past year, and I never stay anywhere else, if this special B & B is available. The owners truly care about their guests and work hard to make sure you're happy. The space is amazing: Not a typical B & B room. You're the only guest, and your room is actually a private suite, more like an apartment. The living area/bedroom is spacious and spotlessly clean, with tasteful decor and thoughtful furnishings, such as touch lamps and charging ports. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in, healthy bamboo mattress, cotton spreads, and weighted blankets for a 'hug' (as the owners suggest) as you drift into blissful sleep. The middle room is actually your own private dining room, with a lovely glass-doored buffet holding dishes for your use, and a large table that provides plenty of room for dining and even home office work. The kitchenette is great for making simple meals: a water dispenser that delivers boiling hot or cold water instantly, a cabinet with cutlery and kitchen essentials, a coffee maker, microwave, and a good size fridge/freezer. The bath is roomy, with a great shower, and a cupboard containing lots of extra towels. Breakfast is very special: You choose the day before from several vegan and gluten-free options, specify delivery time, and they personally bring it to you on a tray. And it's delicious, always a treat! The owners are vegan chefs and make the best gluten-free blueberry pancakes you'll ever find. The seasonal saltwater pool is literally at your door. The beautiful grounds, with citrus and shade trees, hammocks and picnic tables, make an idyllic setting, plus the property is next door to Saguaro National Park, with miles of trails and gorgeous scenery. All this, at a very reasonable price, makes Rancho Vegano hands down the best place to stay in Tucson!

The room is great. Large open space with a bathroom and kitchenette (with dining table). Also a water dispenser with cold and hot water. The sunsets are amazing from here.
Very close to East Saguaro National Park.
The hosts were kind and helpful.
Their breakfast burrito is Yum!

This is THE perfect bed and breakfast! My boyfriend and I wanted to get away from the city for our anniversary. We had seen this place on Instagram and were super excited to check it out! Colin and Roy are fantastic hosts. They were incredibly accommodating to my gluten allergy and even allowed us to transfer dates when the weather would've put a damper on our plans! The food is absolutely delicious. We had such a great time here hiking, swimming in the pool, and enjoying the other amenities. The entire property has a very zen feel to it. Beautiful views of the mountains, sunset, and skyline at night. I would love to come back for a girls' trip for my birthday! The only feedback I have is some lights out by the pool would be lovely for night swims 🙂 10/10 great stay!

Rancho Vegano is a patch of peace and healing in the beautiful Sonoran desert on Tucson's far east side. The heated salt water pool does wonders for sore muscles. Accommodations and food are excellent! Your hosts, Colin and Roy, truly care about making people happy. I'll definitely go back!

It’s been a minute since me and my now fiancé went here, but I’d like anyone who wants to come to know that our stay here was absolutely amazing. The property was very serene and secluded, there was a beautiful pool (which we’ll have to come back to try out in the summer), there’s plenty of things to do within the immediate area, and Colin and Roy (the hosts) are phenomenal cooks. We couldn’t have asked for better service or hospitality and the food was literally to die for😩. Definitely will be coming back again🙂.

Such a beautiful relaxing spot. Wonderful food was served to us. The shower is amazing and the room was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend and have already booked our next get away!
