Decent attempt at a remodel however there is still many out dated and falling apart features of the rooms and hotel in general. The hotel had no air conditioning throughout the lobby/hallways and the A/C in the room was very poor. (it was in the 90s so this was a problem). The pool was green and unclean. There was dried blood on the window curtain. We had an issue with the toilet constantly refilling but they couldn't move us to a different room and nobody ever showed up to fix it after reporting it immediately upon check-in. Not terrible for the price but wouldn't stay here if there are other options.

I stayed here last Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The room was $90/night so I thought it would be reasonably nice. It was clean but I wasn't thrilled when I turned on the heater in the room and I started smelling burning shortly before the smoke alarm went off. I turned off the heat and made due with the cold room. Also the shower got warm but not very hot. I told the front desk about the issue with the heater the next morning and they said they'd have the maintenance guy look at it that morning. I also asked if I could get a discount for the inconvenience. It was a bit of a hassle but Saturday morning the person working at the front agreed to half price for the first night. On the bright side they include breakfast which consists of waffles, egg patties, sausage, biscuits&gravy and a few other things. They also offer a shuttle service which I used to get to the botanical gardens.

Would like to give a 0. Lobby AC broken, parking lot dirty, pool empty and unsecured, room had towels on the floor, soap had been used, water on floor. Hallways dark, hot. No bar. Rooms being renovated were unlocked and accessible. The reviews on this place are justified.

It could be a real nice hotel, but it is a long way from decent

We got our refund immediately, and got a different hotel. Never walked out of a hotel before. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

The service was good, but the living experience was hardly enjoyable. They were halfway through a remodel and were still renting out rooms. There is no trashcan, our keys to our room didn't work, and even the toilet was leaking. After getting to our first room we had to switch because our door wouldn't lock. All in all we had a very weird experience at this hotel. It's in a very Rundown industrial part of town.

First room smelled like someone had recently smoked weed and wasn't clean. Next room was okay. Looked nice and was clean. Pool was empty in July even though it was listed s having a pool. Breakfast was ok but not kept stocked. I guess they are remodeling and I would suggest staying elsewhere until they are done.

It was ok. Fairly clean. But check the air before you get undressed. Ours made a horrible squeak. We had to turn it down so the compressor was off to stop the squeak. But in the morning the squeak wouldn't repeat of course. Then the smoke alarm made a fairly bright repeated flash in the room. The curtain was hung crooked. The bed spread was a little stained. But the staff was friendly at check in.

I'll start with the good.

The front desk staff was very friendly during our stay.

Now to the bad:

The room was clean but the bed left me with back pains.

My girlfriends purse was tampered with when we were out. Luckily her wallet was on her.

The area is surrounded by homeless people. NEVER felt like my car was safe and I made sure to park in front of the camera every time.

The "shuttle service" is a guy in a minivan that was talking dirty to his girlfriend the whole trip.

The hotel in general just needs to be shut down.

Positives- free shuttle and decent free breakfast

Negatives- Did not have a good experience at all. The price is very high for a bad neighborhood. The whole place was basically empty which was very creepy. The hallways were dimly lit and 2 of the ice machines were broken to add to the creepiness. The parking lot was almost empty. Our water in the shower was luke warm and the bedspread smelled. Our toilet and sink were scuffed up and they looked very dirty. The handle to turn the shower on was broken. The side entry to our room was broken and left wide open so anyone could walk in.

Overall I would definitely not recommend this hotel or stay there again.
