I love hole in the wall joints that have been around forever, but they’ve got to have good food to offset how dated and grungy they are. So, I was disappointed to have had the most bland, unappetizing meal of my life that I only ate 1/6 of because it was so terrible. I got the rolled tacos with rice and beans. The rice was standard, the beans were grey and flavorless, the guacamole was avocado water basically, and the rolled tacos were incredibly sad, and tasted like the cheapest, off-brand frozen ones you can buy. I took the compressed tiny tube of meat out just to eat that, and it tasted like a corn tortilla. For all I know, they actually were frozen ones. Completely disappointed, and that’s saying something given my expectations of it being at least of a “Filiberto’s” quality.

I recommend the asada fries. They are delicious and plentiful. Slender fries cooked crispy with guacamole, sour cream and cheese. I also ordered the jalapenos and carrots on the side along with a tortilla . The salsa is at no charge, could be a bit hotter. Everything I have ever ordered there has been very tasty. The restaurant it self is no frills. Clean but, plain. Beverages consist of soda, horchata and such. Worth trying and worth returning to for the food. Dessert is churros. They are located in Cottonwood AZ. In the Food City shopping center in the very corner next to the Goodwill store. Ample parking available.

Probably the most authentic Mexican food menu in cottonwood.... the only place I can get tacos lengua!!

The guys up front are always friendly and keep the place nice... although the decor could use improvement but dont let it detract from the awesome food...check it out!

My second visit for a breakfast burrito w/sausage. Very good sandwich served hot off the grill. Lots of filling with two tasty sauces. Price was right and less than some competitors nearby. Will go back again when I get a haircut next door.
