The food here has the perfect southern style recipes. I am impressed!!! The kindness of the staff is wonderful and even their guests are a delight. The Mac n cheese is amazing! And that vanilla almond cake made me bite my lip it's so good. They also give very hefty servings. I'm in love!

First time visit---many Southern "meat and three's" seem to be losing ground to fast food joints--but if all were as good as Rachel's--there would be no danger of extinction. Great food, great service---friendly staff and customers----wish I lived closer--but now have a good reason to return to the area. Was there for lunch and had meatloaf, carrot souffle, cole slaw and butter peas. All were great but best surprise was the carrot souffle ---not the dessert variety one often encounters---more of a delectable vegetable---which is what it should be. Hummingbird Cake was sold out so forced myself to skip dessert. Highly Recommended!

First time customer !!! The fried flounder is cooked perfectly squash and zucchini casserole is probably the best I've had to date and the Cole slaw was good as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful to everyone who cashed out. Restaurant was clean . Looking forward to trying other menu items in the near future. Great job guys!!!!

We stopped at this nice little restaurant because my wife was jonesing for some old school vegetables. We definitely made the right choice because she had the four vegetable plate and was very satisfied. I grabbed a Chicken Fried Steak and it was great.

Y’ALL. This is the BEST place to find comfort food, visit with friends and enjoy some home cooked southern favorites. Think Cracker Barrel but with a small town vibe. Cafeteria style with amazing servers and atmosphere. Stop in for lunch or dinner only and choose your meat and 3 or veggie plate from an extensive list of choices! Will definitely be back!

Southern home cooking, complete with rutabagas and carrot-raisin salad on the menu. Rachels' meat dishes are dependable and expertly prepared, many of them fried, for both crunch and juiciness. The staff are all friendly and helpful, so you want to go back regularly. Booths are nice, but the tables in the middle are a bit crowded, so go early to get the best seats. Diners are typically over 50, and the usually-under-15 prices are helpful if you're on a fixed budget. Highly recommend!
