We celebrated our wedding anniversary here last week! Food was fabulous. There were 4 of us and we each ordered something different. My surf and turf was just what I wanted. The dining room was immaculate and we'll appointed. A soft spoken man played his guitar and sang for us as we made memories to last forever. You won't be disappointed!

We were so overjoyed to find this gem of a place. It’s absolutely gorgeous, cozy, and clean. James was SO nice to book us such a nice room, and made us some delicious food. He was so kind hearted, and we immediately felt at home. The owner also came to welcome us, and tell about fun things to do in the area. I love how they had nice chamomile teas set out to have at night and coffee in the morning as well as a great breakfast. We will definitely return here! What a blessing

Went for Valentines dinner. The steak was delicious. Everything else food wise was mediocre and portions were very small at $45 a person. The entree was literally two shrimp each! Service was great after I called the restaurant to let them know we were in the lobby waiting to be seated for our reservation. Just prior an employee or possible owner appeared to tell us we were going the wrong way but failed to let anyone know we were waiting. Signage is lacking severely. Driveway and parking are sketchy. When we asked about a drink menu we were told that they lost their license. Overall not a horrible experience but i won't eat there again.

We had an excellent weekend getaway. We loved the personal service, thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant. We even got to meet the chef.

Cooper Cottage was lovely. The heater worked great. The hot water was nice and dependable. Highly recommended!

Old Southern charm awaits at Rabun Manor with beautiful views and excellent cuisine. Great place to spend a night or two while heading north or just exploring the area. The Centerpiece is a 175 year old historic mansion with five individually appointed rooms including one executive suite on the ground floor. There are also two additional cabins on the property for those who desire a little more privacy. A full Breakfast at the restaurant is cooked to order and is included with your stay. We will definitely be returning.

My husband and I stayed here this weekend. There were pros and cons of our stay. I will agree with the previous reviewer that it was disappointing that there was no one to greet you when you arrived, and the grounds were in desperate need of attention. It was really not what I was expecting from looking at the video and photos on the website. In saying that, the owner did make the rounds at dinner and breakfast and was very nice. Our room was still very nice and the views are awesome. The breakfasts that David provided were ample and delicious. We have stayed at other B&Bs and this one is a little different. But never the less, we enjoyed our stay, and our favorite part was sitting on the gorgeous front porch with our coffee enjoying the view. (yes, there is a busy road down below, but we didn't pay any attention to that!)

The rooms and house as a whole were absolutely gorgeous. Everyone was quite friendly, and I especially enjoyed the service and company of Justin. At the time, I believe he was preparing for the July 4th menu, but he took time to talk with me and my three friends. As someone who used to cook for a living, it was great hearing about his current experiences, his thoughts on the culinary arts, and his recommendations for restaurants around the area. I would definitely go here again.

If you are looking for a relaxing and charming B&B getaway, this is NOT the place. While the property is historical and the interior is elegant, the new owner doesn't have the experience to run the place properly.

As two young professionals from Atlanta, we decided to take time off and relax in North Georgia. We splurged for the exec suite ($350/night) so we could enjoy the room amenities like fireplaces and bathtub. We were expecting a quaint, quiet, low-key B&B experience. However, after numerous mishaps, we would definitely recommend anyone considering this place to look elsewhere.

Punch list of only a few issues:

Amenities misrepresented

*Both fireplaces not functional (for years now- yet still advertised on websites)

*Bathtub had pink mold and hair (not from a head)

*Sheets not clean and smelled strongly of must

Service issues

*Owner and majority of kitchen staff didn't wear masks (COVID times)

*Rushed us out of breakfast so owner could go to Costco (we showed up during the 15 minute breakfast window given)

*Restaurant staff was unprofessional and/or not knowledgeable of menu like wine list

*It felt like we were an inconvenience to the owner and staff to be there (and we were the only couple there for one of the nights)

After our first night, we mentioned the condition of the room to the owner and he contacted someone to clean. When we returned to the room it was much cleaner, thankfully. But it made me wonder if it was even cleaned before, as we noticed the carpet had been vacuumed that day but not before our arrival.

Anyway, the place has potential to be great one day and hope they can work out the kinks. Do look for less expensive, more experienced B&B's in the area.
