We went here to ride out Hurricane Milton. The check in was smooth. The staff were friendly. The morning breakfast was ample except for a few greedy guests who got aggressive jogging the hot food. The server did her best to keep up. Easy to get in on Southbound side but be careful going North as Troy has a lot of traffic.

Much better experience than I expected. The room was very clean and smelled good. Not enough charging ports. Lamps are rusted. Real breakfast everyday sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereals, juice, tea coffee and everything was good and fresh. Employees seem to love their job. This is definitely an option for the future.

Positive: The staff was phenomenal!! Every single person we talked to all weekend was so nice. From the front desk, the breakfast, even the housekeeping spoke to us when we walked by. The breakfast was very good, much better than I expected it to be. Negative: It needs a cleanup in a desperate way. It is a very dated hotel.

Co-worker and I stayed here overnight for a one day seminar, checked out yesterday morning. Service was good, lobby and dining area were clean and neat, yes the hotel is very dated in some places, but good in others. I had stayed here last year and the stay was okay as well. The furniture in the room seemed to be new or newer, bed was comfy but the hardwood floors were pathetically dirty. Unfortunately, I do not like to wear shoes in a space where I am staying or "living", and had to wear a dirty pair of socks every time I walked across the floor. If you do not wear shoes, be sure you do not wear white socks. They will be ruined.
You could see how dirty it was just by looking across the floor. Residue of footprints and spilled "stuff" . Gross. Awful. Co-worker's room was the same way. A swiffer and a wet swiffer pad or even a generic pad go a long way on a floor such as this. Nobody cleans anymore, it is basically making the bed clean and neat and taking out trash. Floors just do not get cleaned. Breakfast was good, orange juice was great! I got a room right at the staircase out back, so I was enjoying the sun thru the window when a man came down the steps looking right in my room at me. Curtains had to be shut. Then I got the noise off of those running up and down the steps all night. If we attend the seminar again next year, I have to remember to bring cleaning supplies and ask for a room away from the steps. Oh, the internet definitely was good for wi-fi.

Positive: Location and price. Breakfast was good. Pool looked clean-although we didn't swim. Staff was friendly. Negative: Breakfast was over an hour late the 1st morning due to staffing issues. Shower did not work, only tub. Transferred to another room- air did not cool well in 2nd room. Room cleaning in both rooms lacked attention to details.

The room has a very fair price and was clean. My problem is the 4 tiny pillows they give you that barely keep your head on. If you stop here, bring your own pillow

Positive: They did serve a very good breakfast. Negative: For the price I paid I did not expect a shiny new room and was willing to accept "a little rough around the edges". Dirty was not acceptable. If the room had not been prepaid, I would have left.

Room was absolutely filthy! Feet turned black from the carpet. Ceiling above bathtub was peeling. Also had a bad smell in the room. Would not recommend this place at all! Would’ve been better off just sleeping in my car!
