Pros: For those with electric cars there is a charging station. Parking is adequate for anyone pulling a cargo trailer. Staff was friendly and helpful. Conveniently located off I 20 with lots of restaurants and gas nearby. Cracker barrel is one I noticed. Quiet.|Cons: Our room needs a deep cleaning. In fact, the facility is overdo for an update. Cleanliness is hit and miss. Breakfast area was clean but don’t be deceived by the hot breakfast. The only item hot was the make it yourself waffles and hot water for the instant oatmeal. Definitely carb heavy offerings. No meat or eggs. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Didn’t know I would find a gem of a place like this one. I enjoy quiet and smoke-free hotels and this spot was it. Bill the Veteran at the front desk was an absolute Godsend, he helped me to park my trailer and was so nice. All in all, I was really happy to enjoy the hot shower and clean bed with a working fridge and clean microwave. I just wish I had more time to stay here and the continental breakfast did the job.
P.S. To turn on the hot water in the shower turn the knob left and the know towards the right for cold water.

The staff at this hotel the evening lady was very helpful. I had a problem with my room and she got right on it. And moved me to another room. I didn't meet the manager but I think she need to lighting up. Smokers got to walk all the way around the front of the hotel to smoke not good it is a long walk. Just wish I would have known before I booked there. This will be my last stay.

I want to start this review by saying how wonderful the front desk staff at this location is. They were very helpful and kind upon checkin. My family came into town for a family wedding and we were needing two rooms. They were kind enough to put us away from the parking lot so it was quieter for us. Upon getting to our room and opening the doors to both rooms we were slammed with the smell of mildew. We ALWAYS check the beds before bringing anything in for bugs and the bedding was fresh and clean but the mattress cover on the one bed was literally hanging on by a thread. We opened the door between the two rooms as they were adjoining and the frame all the way around was filled with mold/mildew. Our son who was traveling with us has a severe allergy to mold and immediately upon entering the room his nose began to run and his eyes water. Walking into our bathrooms both showers were full of mold/mildew all over the tub and the fans were full too. The heat/air in both rooms worked great but we were hesitant to run them because upon just looking at them you could see all the mildew/mold that lined the inside. Both sink areas had what could be great lighting but if all the lights were working. 2/4 in both areas. Due to me being immunocompromised and my son's allergies I always travel with bleach wipes. I wiped down the remote, nightstand, table, bathroom counter in every single hotel we ever stay at. At this one we will leave it at I don't think the cleaning staff has done a GOOD clean in a long time. ?

This location has a TON of potential with the right attention to detail. I would love to come back to this area and give this hotel another chance if they can fix these issues.

The floors were filthy and needed to be cleaned. Bathroom was not cleaned before last use. I had to clean the toilet before it could be used. The bathroom door would not open all the way and had to be lifted up to open. The room immediately smelled like smoke and old burnt marijuana when I walked in. If it had not been late and I was staying more than one night I would have left and went to the holiday inn. I do not recommend staying here with your family.

This property has not been properly maintained. Weeds overgrown, bushes not trimmed, exterior needed painting. The couch in our room was very soiled, had rips - was not even worthy to see in a garage sale. The door frame to the bathroom had appearances of being repaired, with unpainted wood putty. The condition of the walls in the bathroom was poor, with areas of crumbling drywall. The toilet seat was extremely loose. The room HVAC controls worked, but needed repair as the temp setting spun completely around. Staff were friendly and check-in/out were fast. I'm a Choice Elite member and I enjoy staying at Choice hotels to save money. But, this is one property I would not recommend.

My family and I checked into this place last night. Upon entry we were greeted with an unpleasant odor. Our children sat on the bed and a bug climbed on my daughters arm. The room was dirty. The bathroom was disgusting. There was what appeared to be poop on the bathroom wall. I am not an overly picky person. I spent years in the military and have slept in rough conditions... but there was absolutely no way I was staying in that room, especially with my kids. We loaded up and left roughly an hour after arriving. They refused to refund us for the room. I highly recommend staying elsewhere!

I would caution anyone with kids that is looking for a good place to stay that is clean. I arrived there with three children and when I entered the room there were socks on the floor, in the drawers. The room had a really musky odor, and there were food crumbs underneath the sheets. What really set the tone was what looked like white mold on the walls and bed skirt, followed by my oldest kid finding a bug crawling on her arm.

I left this place immediately and unfortunately, I was told that I would not be provided a refund based on the poor living conditions. I attempted to call corporate and was told that the only thing they were able to do was give me points for a complementary stay in the future.

The only positive thing was the attitude of the front desk attendant, she was very helpful, but that was all.

Would not recommend and don't understand how this establishment has the best reviews in the area.
