It's not bad, but I wouldn't stay again. The outside area is nice, the pool is clean. They have a area for dogs, which is nice. However my room I feel could use a upgrade. Bathroom sink didn't want to drain, toilet didn't want to flush. The emergency lock so you don't lock yourself out of the room, wasn't screwed into the wall. Bed so nice. Pillows nice. Quiet area . The breakfast consist of waffles, cereal, apple, coffee, juice. No bacon, no eggs, no sausage. Kinda high for the one night. Front desk very pleasant. Nice and friendly, It just needs work on these rooms. They know.

Very pleased with this spot. Would 100% stay here again. Neat and tidy rooms, all the right room amenities. Pool looked good, fire pit at night, volleyball and shuffleboard. Really good spot to crash and have a good time

This was a nice hotel for the price, room was clean and comfortable bed. No bugs, but there was either a little mold or dust bunnies on the ceiling. Would definitely stay again!

Let's begin with the exterior which has not been power washed in a very long time, it was filthy. The paint and stucco was peeling off everywhere. The steel stairs to the 2nd floor was rusting and potentially something Code Enforcement if it exists in Richmond Hill, should look at. The alleyways between the front to rear had paint and stucco falling off. Every steel door for the rooms was filthy with old corroded locking mechanisms. The pool looked clean with a group using it but the clerk was surprised when I mentioned it. I was told it was supposed to be closed because the water needed to be tested after the heavy rains. There was no closed sign. Regarding the front desk, I am a Platinum member and I was not offered either drinks and snacks or extra points when checking in which are expected. The next morning when my spouse and I went there for breakfast, the clerk advised there is none because of the hurricane power outages. There was no signage about this and I was not told when checking in. I asked for a non smoking pet free room (I am struggling with lung cancer). The room clearly had smoking occupants and pets previously based on the smell. The beds were worn out. I felt the springs in some areas. One sheet had a burn mark. When entering the bathroom I immediately noted the structure with sharp angles that posed as the closet over hung the end of the sink area and had a sharp angle at about 5'5". I am 5'8" and had to be careful not to hit my head on it. The faucet was old with separate hot and cold handles that were rusting. The bathtub/shower was unusable. The tub had an old paint job that was peeling that could actually cut your foot. The in wall A/C had a fixed vain that forced the cold air to ricochet off the ceiling onto the further of the two beds. The walls were paper thin. The next room had a screaming baby who thankfully finally slept. Two doors away was a barking dog. This is an old run down motel that should not have the Quality brand. I took photos. Unfortunately this app doesn't offer a way to upload them.

My grandson and I stayed one night on our way back home from my Mom's house in FL. I was a little skeptical upon pulling in, I usually do not stay anywhere that doesn't have a lobby to go through before getting in a room. I don't like rooms that are open to the outside. I took a chance since I couldn't cancel my reservation when we got there. As soon as we went to check in, we were offered cookies, that were soft and fresh, pleased the grandson while I finished up. My room keys and paperwork were already prepared from my reservation. We went to our room, I was surprised at the updated room and it had a very nice bed, TV, sink/counter top, and AC. The only thing with the room was the tub with some stains from years of use and the AC condensation ran out onto the room. The pool was nice, clean and refreshing. The restaurant was a plus, no moving the car, no delivery fees, and good food. Unfortunately my grandson slept too late for us to go to breakfast, so I cannot speak for breakfast. There were several people staying at this hotel, and I could smell someone smoking marijuana when I parked my car, but I didn't feel scared or unsafe. When we checked out, the young man at the counter handed me a bag with snacks and water for my grandson. I was impressed by their kindness in the office. I was pleased to be greeted with respect and kindness! If I am in need of a hotel room in the area again, I will stay at this Quality Inn. Thank you for your professionalism and hospitality!

Walked up the dingy stairs, underneath the sheaths of peeling paint, and proceeded into my room.

Although immediately feeling damp as I entered I thought "I can sleep here for one night."

But I actually couldn't.

I saw the sink, crusted with brown-- either feces or vomit-- and I wasn't about to wait to find out which.

Turned on a dime and left. Won't be back to this crappy motel.
