The room was better than expected for the price. My only concern was that the shower curtain needed cleaned or replaced. Otherwise the room was clean. I hold hotel breakfast to very low standards and expectations but this one let me down. There was no warm food left more than a hour before the end of breakfast. We were not the only visitors to discover this when we tried to get breakfast. Sadly there was an employee just feet away who should have been able to hear people’s displeasure but did nothing to correct the situation.

All things considered I would stay here again based on the cleanliness and the price.

The experience was good. The only issue I had was the communication. We had to stay past our checkout time because my car broke down and the part wouldn't be in until 4p. When we spoke to the guy he said it would be $30. Then we got a $90 charge so we went down stairs and the manager charged us $90 because it was past 3p checkout time it would be $90 but if we left at 3p but if we left before 3p it would be $30 for the late check out time. However! Because we did speak to her and we told her we would be leaving at 2:30p by the latest she did end up reversing the $90 to $30 late check out. other than that the service was great. They do offer some cheap tooth brushes and combs by the service desks and shampoo and conditioner in the shower too. The bathrooms are very clean and the room was very clean too. The only issue I had was there was really nothing for us to do unless you drive but since we didn't have a car there was really no where we could go besides Bob Evans to eat.

We were at this motel for the eclipse on April 8 2024. We checked in on Sunday the 7th. While not a great looking motel the room was rather nice with a small TV and microwave and refrigerator. The room and bathroom were for the most part clear. The beds were nice. Now for the issues. The ice machine was broken but they did have someone working on it. Now for the bigger issue. We did not take a shower on Sunday night or on Monday before the eclipse but after the eclipse my wife told me the water in the shower was ice cold (I guess that made up for the ice machine not working) We let the water run but it did not get even a little warm. Still ice cold. While we paid for Monday night so that we could stay in the parking lot to watch the eclipse and as I had to go to work the next day we did not stay the night instead after a nap we left at 9:30 PM. So the bottom line we did not take a shower on Sunday or Monday. And thus did not report this to the motel. On the good side it was a nice place to view the eclipse.

Have stayed here for a night and it was a good experience, staff were friendly and at a reasonable price. Would stay here again.

Positive: "" Negative: Staff were outside smoking in the front of the hotel with their kids running around. Our tub/shower's water would not shut off. If ran from 11:30 p.m. until we left at 8:00 a.m. Move us to new room but no hot water there:(

Room was clean, bug free, and well stocked. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner worked well and not too noisy. Only complaint is we reserved a smoking room, but then at check in was told no smoking rooms available.

I stayed in many Choice Hotels during that week and weekend and this was an excellent stay. The property and room was wheelchair accessible and very close to the lobby. All of the staff I interacted with were extremely polite and accommodating. They ensured I had the shower chair I requested and we're very communicative. I felt safe at this property and would absolutely chose to stay here again. The only issue was the breakfast wasn't exactly as advertised and lacked hot options. I'm pretty sure they excluded that because their establishment wasn't fully booked or busy. Other than that, I don't have anything to complain about.

Had a wedding in the area and stayed here for a night. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Rate was reasonable. Would stay here again.
