Ugh. I had wanted to stay at the other Quality Inn in the area, but it was booked. A hotel is a hotel, right?||Nope, this place makes flea traps look habitable. Let’s start with the flooring—cracked and crumbling vinyl flooring and stained/torn carpeting. Then there was the smell. Couldn’t tell if someone had been cooking or spilled dog food all over the room. The pubic hair ball on the floor of the bathroom was a nice touch, as was the stained couch. But perhaps the worst was every 15 minutes, the leaking toilet would refill, emitting a 90 decibel whistle from the water valve.||I don’t care if Auburn is playing Bama in a #1/#2 match up; you’re better off sleeping in your car than here.

Very nice lady’s at the front desk. Everyone checked in this weekend for the storm and had their pets with them. We were all safe and sound through the night. Will stay again.

Sad, that this hotel could be a good choice. The room was okay, not 5 star, but acceptable I probably would have rated it a 3, but the appearance of several roaches after we checked in knocked the rating down. We would have left if not for an approaching storm. Slept with the light on, and left at daylight once the storm passed. Should have read the reviews before we stopped.

This hotel is conveniently located near the AU campus & there are plenty of places to dine nearby. There is even a Waffle House on the other side of the parking lot. They have a pool & do offer bfast options as well.

Obviously, they were in the process of renovating, and my room was the only one on the floor that had not been renovated completely. There were missing sink and tub stoppers. The door seal was missing. Someone went into my room and cleaned it even though I had the do not disturb sign in the door. The side exit door stayed jarred open and would not close. The internet write-up does not match what I experienced when I got to the hotel. The value is exactly what you get for the low price you pay.

Reviews are all over the place but my room was freshly rehabbed, clean and smelled fresh. Pet friendly and Arif was patient with my need to see the room before I booked. Military discount was applied. When I looked at reviews of ALL the hotels in the area I was frankly worried. Some were horrid. But this was a good day and a soft landing for the night. Freezer needed defrosting but otherwise fine.

Unfortunately this was a terrible experience. Since I couldn’t cancel reservation I stayed. So I had to go buy sheets and bug spray because I found two roaches. I also went and bought bleach to deal with the mold/mildew in the bathroom. Room smelled dirty. Supposed to be no smoking but smelled like smoke. The staff was very rude and would not reimburse to leave hotel. Changing rooms was not an option they said so I’m guessing all rooms are probably just as bad. It was game weekend and it was $300 a night for filth. Go somewhere else!
