I recently stayed at this hotel with my partner, and despite some of the other reviews, we had a fantastic time. The staff was incredibly accommodating and super sweet. Our room was spotless and the location couldn't have been better – everything was within walking distance. The continental breakfast was a nice touch, and the hotel was quiet, making for a very relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

The staff is exceptional! The lobby is bright and welcoming. Location is perfect... Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Beds are comfortable and pillows are fluffy. TVs have decent pictures and plenty of channels to choose from. Housekeeping doesn't knock on the door early, which is a huge plus. A few things... Vending is only on the 1st floor, the room numbers are a little odd, this last time the room had a bit of a stale odor and the door needed to forcibly pushed for it to latch. The pool was empty but that's probably due to the time of year. I feel these are all minor issues that will be addressed. The General Manager, Patrick, is always there and happy to assist.

Some of the reviews on here might have you questioning whether or not to stay. Well let me tell you, I travel year round with my job and live out of hotels 300 plus nights per year. And I like to be comfortable and I like to feel as if I’m home. This hotel is not nearly as bad as some of the reviews wouod indicate. The beds are comfortable. They’re in the process of doing some renovations around the hotel. You can tell they’re actively trying to improve. The manager, Patrick at the front desk is incredibly friendly. It’s right across the street from the mall. There are tons of dining options close by. Only thing I could say in regards to complaints is housekeeping could pay a little more attention to detail when they’re cleaning the rooms. Other than that, the rates are very reasonable and is a decent place to stay while traveling.

Entire bathroom ceiling paint peeling. Bathroom exhaust fan caked with dust/dirt. Zero toilet paper. Two towels for a 4 person room. I wiped up spilled water on the floor between the beds and the towel was BLACK...zero effort to mop for ages!!! Bedspread was badly stained and should be thrown out! I asked for extra pillows and the check in lady handed them to me with instructions that I must return those exact pillows in the morning...that should be her request to cleaning staff, not guests! Breakfast area was very low on inventory and variety, and no fresh fruit which is a standard offering.
***Side note to Owner - replies on reviews from you don't mean much when they say the same thing over and over for the same continual complaints by many guests. If your staff can't get it together, then it's time for a new staff.

I had no issues with my Visit, this is a great location. Staff was very pleasant and helped me with my questions before reservation. Patrick Patel ensured my satisfaction with the cleanliness of my room in a timely manner. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone stopping by Albany!

I stayed at this location. It was great. Customer service was fantastic. Room service was awesome. I spoke to choice to give a good reward and they misunderstood. I recommend this hotel to anybody that needs a night stay. The general manager, Mr. Patrick will take care of you in any conditions

Any negative review of this place is either made in incompetence or is bogus. We had an excellent stay, the FREE breakfast was exactly as I expected for something free. My room was clean, all amenities worked, and we experienced no noise throughout the night, even on a Saturday. Will definitely return next time we are in town.
