Quail in! This experience was actually really good! Dont judge a book by its cover!! The room was good sized. The shower was retro AF! Clean room and the (manager/owner?) Was AMAZING. He was constantly telling homeless people to leave. He got us drinks because someone broke the vending machine. All in all, i felt safe, i felt happy and i wish i could have stayed longer. Will stay here again.

Clean, affordable, safe, with cute vintage detailing from another era. All I want from an overnight stay at a motor hotel. The front desk man was a good guy. Nice that the room had a good TV with basic cable, plus mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot.

Motel was clean, beds comfortable. Pretty dated, older motel. Bathroom is a bit small, which is one of my pet peeves, but not unusual for older motels. Checkin guy was super helpful and accommodating. Decent room for the price.

Among a string of small motels. Approx. 12 units. My single room had a king sized bed. WiFi, Refrigerator, Microwave, desk, good A/C, clean enough though worn out a bit. 46" TV had GREAT picture. Pool had no water. I gave this place a slighty higher rating, bc it is GREAT value for only $40. +$8. tax.

TOTALLY NOT WORTH $60!! However, when your reserved room at another hotel seems to have disappeared out the system and you've been moving and awake for almost 48 hours, guess you gotta do what you gotta do!!

Took over 5 minutes for the hot water to get hot!

Why are beds so crappy in hotels?!?

If you can go elsewhere, GO!!

I arrived in Tucson from the north without any booking. Coming down Oracle, I noted a cluster of motels all advertising the same price. With no way to tell them apart, I went for the one with the most vehicles - the Quail. It might have been terrible, but it really wasn't. The room had some odd spaces and cupboards, but it was clean and fairly spacious. The TV, fridge and shower all worked fine and there was a table and chairs I could use to write on. The bed was good. The only thing not very good was the internet: I was apparently right beside the router, but my Mac wouldn't get any internet, although I did finally connect with my tablet.
