Traveling through and was in a hurry but Chancey in the bakery helped me slow down and enjoy the process of buying a friend a thank you cake. You know people like Chancey don’t realize how much they brighten this world with kind and thoughtful listening and good old fashioned sweetness!

Also appreciate the positive vibe of this store and of course the fresh produce and meat and milk alternatives.

The parking lot was easy to get into with a lot of accessible handicap parking.

The store was clean and the air felt fresh. They had the disinfectant wipes at the front and even this very large scale where you could weigh yourself loved. Traveling through the store!

The girl behind the counter kindly asked what I needed and said she could make it for me if I came back in two hours. When I returned, the cake was ready—and it was absolutely perfect. Great store with a wide variety of food. Clean premises with friendly employees. They have some pretty good sales at times. It seems there mote new products coming in.

Love this store. The Bakery makes some absolutely delicious treats. The deli is fantastic. They offer a wider selection of food compared to other stores in the area. I think that their prices are on the high side. Overall a good shopping experience.

ATTN: CASSIE IN THE BAKERY!!!

I recently placed an order for a letter cake. I typically purchase all my cakes from Publix, appreciating their freshness and the delightful taste of their smooth buttercream. However, on January 7th, 2025, I was quite disappointed with the cake's design upon picking it up. This was an unexpected and unusual experience for me.

I spoke with a bakery employee named Cassie about my concern. She was incredibly receptive and understanding. To my amazement, she quickly and skillfully transformed the cake into a masterpiece within an hour. I was truly impressed by her dedication and talent.

Unfortunately, she left before I could personally express my gratitude. I would appreciate it if you could convey my sincere thanks to Cassie for her excellent work and patience. She handled the situation with grace, even with a customer like me (DRAMATIC ).

While it’s still the best grocery store in Richmond Hill, I’ve been noticing more and more that they have expired products on the shelves, and occasionally even (visibly) moldy produce (usually berries or cherry tomatoes). They’ve always refunded me when I bring the expired products back (after getting home and realizing), but it’s annoying to have to go back to the store.

It seems to be happening with an increasing frequency. Never happened a few years ago, and now it seems to happen about once a month.

Additionally, their selection seems to vary week to week. Some of the products are *very* inconsistently available. Makes planning tough when you need specialized ingredients.

Ive been coming to this location for 5 years and the deli consistently is overwhelmed and surprised that customers come and order things. Every week is like orientation week with this deli counter. The customer service plan for this counter seems to never include the possibilities that more than one customer might be interested in ordering more than one item at a time. Its pretty sad. The sad part is every time ive tried to address it with management they have made it seem like its my problem when even a cursory glance at reviews on this deli counter on Richmond Hill Facebook will show the entire town knows it.

Always a great selection. I was looking for something specific, but they had less stock than I needed. One of the employees and a manager made sure to understand what I was needing and then ordered the amount I needed for delivery later this week. That is the customer service I need and want.
