We loved the hotel, which was nicely decorated, modern, and had good quality, comfortable furnishings. A few sitting areas are next to the lobby for rest, work, and eating. The front desk staff was always courteous and attentive to our needs. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with a great bed, and all amenities, including a sofa bed, mini fridge, coffee maker, etc. Everything is super clean. Good quality towels. The minus point was for a worn-out, with holes, shower curtain, the bathroom floor needs repair of a crack, and noise from the upper floor. When late-night guests arrived, we heard all their steps and luggage, which was annoying. We’ll stay here again, but on the upper floor.

Clean, easy access off the freeway. I needed an overnight for business in Sacramento and this was a good spot. I would give a 5* but the room was a bit spartan-lights didn't work in the first room (King) so I got a new room-without a microwave (LOL). Breakfast was ok, minimal. I'd love to have a protein like eggs rather than just carbs-muffins and bagel. Not a big deal but for $100/night it's nice to have the full deal. Best features to note-safe, clean, and quiet (Wed night) for a near-freeway location. Davis is a cool spot for food and people watching. I would stay here again.

I have stayed at many hotels at this price range but Prodigy is still always the best. Breakfast is great. The beds are so comfortable that I never wake up with back pain despite my scoliosis. Easy check in no matter how late you check in at night. Beautiful and clean bathroom. The room is cozy and clean. I miss Prodigy all the time. I fight the urge to just swing by in the middle of the night with my gf to sleep on the comfy kind sized bed. If anyone is considering Prodigy, please give it a try. Affordable, clean, comfortable, and good breakfast - what more could you ask for?

Very clean and quiet. Front desk was very courteous and quick checking us in.|Would stay again.|Booked last minute due to a last-minute trip. Have never stayed in a Days Inn hotel was not sure what to expect. But the rooms were nice and looks newly renovated. Felt very comfortable here staying with her 13-year-old daughter and we would definitely stay again.|We did not use the amenities as there was not enough time, but it’s a great little hotel.

Honestly for a 2 star hotel, this is a solid 5 star experience. They were able to get us a room when we walked in, Checkin was quick and smooth. Our room was spacious, hard flooring which I love since they're easier to keep clean. I hate carpets at hotels. The bathroom was clean and renovated as well. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were plush. I slept like a baby. There was a large desk, dresser, keurig, microwave, 2 free water bottles, TV, USB outlets at nightstands. Breakfast wasn't fancy but it was clean and well laid out. Had a simple breakfast with oats, raisins, walnuts and banana with coffee. For 99 bucks a night, I'm not complaining. One of the best budget hotels I've stayed in in a long time! Thank you Prodigy Hotel. We will be back.

I felt very safe at this hotel traveling alone. It’s not a high-end hotel but it serves its purpose for one or two nights stay. It was nice to be able to use the local gym next-door as a staying guest. Very quiet, clean room and absolutely no complaints..

Virtual front desk was off-putting.
Pole in the bathroom was disturbing, with its rust.
Toilet paper was cheap. Not very good conditioner.
Bedrooms and halls were clean, smelled calm and relaxing.

Thin walls, so if you enjoy hearing all that goes on in the neighboring rooms, this is the place. We were moved two times during our check in: one for the room smelling like marijuana despite it being a 100% smoke free hotel, and the second they gave us a room key for an occupied room. Also, there wasn’t any hot water for a shower during our last day. To top it off, instead of using my credit card for incidentals only, a mistake was made and my credit card was charged over $500 for the cost of my stay.
