For a place that is not hiring you would think they would be fully staffed? when i was in here the other day there was only 1 register open during a very busy day. Couldn’t get assistance at customer service at all, i asked an employee and they said they were short staffed, i thought they might need help, i speak to HR and apparently they are fully staffed? Huh 🤔 how come there are carts everywhere outside but none restocked? bathrooms extremely dirty with no soap or toilet paper 🤨 with smeared stains all over doesn’t leave a sanitary impression, i hope everyone is touching stuff with clean hands.

The store was busy. No staffed registers open. Only four very slow-moving self checkout registers with a single long line halfway up isle #2. No one likes self checkout, but if you're going to force your customers into using it by leaving them with no other options, at least have enough registers open. It's pretty pathetic management to end up short staffed when you're using your customers to replace your employees. I wish I had taken a picture because it's sort of surreal, seeing 20 people in one line with a ghost town of unstaffed and unused checkout lines in the background. Thank you, Price Chopper, for doing your part to lower the bar on customer service to a new all-time low. This was my first and last time shopping at this store. This wasn't "shopping." It was more like being trapped inside of a giant vending machine for an hour.

The store in storrs is terrible!! I just moved here and have been several times . Very unhappy I will go to big y now. You really have to check dates on everything. I bought deli meat $7.00 it lasted one day slimy.. no loose white potatoes which is a normal staple .. milk and yogurt soup containers expired.. young kids running the place with no concern about proper food expiration!! Do better !! Your prices are to high in the first place let alone having to throw it out after 1 or 2 days !!

Always liked the store, especially the seafood department. Not sure what's going on with the deli, a month ago it was great....went there last Thursday, took 5 minutes for anyone to come to the counter, then got very rude service . Won't be coming back.

Limited selection (as in take a regular grocery store, reduce the selections by 80%), odd operating hours for in-store services like a deli thst closes at 4pm on Saturday, and an overall bad layout and you have this store. My tip, spend the few extra minutes traveling and go to Big Y instead.
