Press and Grind is a nice coffee house. It has very limited parking in front of the shop but lots of seating inside.
It has an large menu of different coffee and non-coffee drinks. I got my regular oat milk latte which was meh. And a gluten-free cinnamon roll which was yuk! The cinnamon roll was pretty flat and pilled high with icing. The texture was more cake-like.
The bathroom was very clean. This my second time visiting the shop. The first time I got a turmeric latte which was good but not real spicy considering it has ginger in it.
I probably won't be back anytime soon.

Great coffee & pastries... service is nice & friendly.
Very clean inside and larger than you would think. They have a small patio out front so you can watch all the passerby folks on Highland.

The coffee is very good and the pastries are awesome/large portions.

Bonus... the use Batdorf & Bronson coffee.👍

Great atmosphere in this cozy VaHi location. Best part to me is that they make their own almond milk and coconut milk in house. Huge plus!

We live in the are but this was the first time we ate here. Not sure if I’m more excited because we finally found a legit breakfast spot or more bummed because we spent five years in the area without knowing how great it is. The food is awesome. Breakfast BLT was great. The ambience is spot on and plenty of seating.

First of all, the space is beautiful and unique- dramatic vaulted ceiling with plenty of natural light and modern yet tasteful furniture. The coffee is good and the food options are extensive - I had a cheese and egg biscuit that was all made from scratch. You’re definitely going to get more than your standard pastry.

That said, they do have an impressive pastry/desert display.

The location is delightful - tucked away just off the main drag of “downtown” Virginia Highlands and between their lot and street parking, I’ve never had a problem driving there.

As a personal anecdotal side, one morning I was there I was dressed nicely and was trying not to get my egg and cheese biscuit on my clothes. I was using small cocktail napkins from the prep station on my lap to catch crumbs, and one of the ladies working there noticed and brought me a full sized dinner napkin. I was very impressed by this gesture and attention I felt I was receiving as a customer.

Press and Grind has a very nice atmosphere and is kept very clean and stays fairly quiet inside with ample seating, there is patio seating out front. The coffee was pretty good, definitely better then any chain brand but not the best in Atlanta either. The mini donuts were delicious; they have a cinnamon apple flavor to them and are worth getting if you're there. They also have many other pastries and a few sandwiches if you want an actual meal. The barista's at Press and Grind were all very nice and friendly and even caught on to me and a friend discussing the keto coffee they have on the menu. This made up for the lack of latte art on our drinks; they were to-go with lids on so it's forgivable.

Chill little spot I went to by myself on a fall Saturday morning. I was with my girlfriend actually but she was too bashful so she stayed outside. I got a latte as I do, pretty standard for me. Here’s where it gets interesting. The latte tasted just like my rose scented rosary. Unbelievable example of divine intervention or a coffee with subtle notes of both wood, rose and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Definitely good coffee and will be back for another medium roast Ave Maria sometime soon
