This place never ceases to amaze me. If you look close you will see Fried Cabbage. I ain’t never. Everything they fix is top shelf. I have renamed the owner Paul Dean. She is amazing. Then she brought out this Fried Apple Pie. Let us pray.

The very best of what I call a Hole-in-the-wall cafe... and I mean that in a good way. Nothing fancy on the outside but some of the best down home type cooking you'll find anywhere. I had fried pork chops, mashed potatoes with chocolate gravy (that's right I said chocolate gravy!) , squash casarole, dinner roll, fried Strawberry pie and sweet tea. Everything was amazing and or waitress and cook are two of the nicest ladies you'll ever meet. I highly recommend them.

If you love supporting Mom & Pop businesses or exploring local dives, this is the place for you! Located in rural Lawrence County, you’ll love grabbing a meat and three for lunch or true country breakfast.

Had been to pops before and still wasn’t great. the fries tasted like the grease was old, the people in the kitchen wearing dirty looking pajamas, not washing their hands after picking at their nose, etc… Not even just that but the food was not good, we called ahead 30 mins prior to place a to go order and got there and they had not even started it yet and was standing around talking.

I got the taco salad which was an Americanized version and was still pretty good but it was nowhere near authentic. I also got onion rings though and those were by far the best I've ever had in my entire adult life. They're actually better than the onion rings you'll find at a fair or carnival, which up until this point was the best I've ever had. It's close to home with a nice little down home atmosphere with pretty decent food so I will definitely be back.

Great home style meals and great staff! This is one of those backwoods hidden gems people talk about. Definitely worth the drive if you want some down home cooking and that mom and pop's restaurant vibe.

Food was fair but it was a meal that should have been at least warm to very warm and it was all cool. It was our first time so sandwiches may be better.
