A friend stayed at this location recently, due to a family emergency. The rates are cheaper than other places in the area. When they 1st arrived, the lady at the front desk accused her of stealing her towels the last time she stayed there. SHE HAS NEVER STAYED HERE!! So, that already set the tone of their stay. The parking lot has a lot of divots and potholes to dodge while locating a parking spot outside your door. It looks like they threw some gravel out in places, but it needs serious repair.
There was a nasty smell in the room. My friend got sick while staying here, and had to take medicine. She was also sitting on the bed and said she had a roach crawl on her!! They were infested!
Needless to say, they left and went to another motel. FYI.... Check the room out before you stay here.

Some rooms are newly remodeled and nice while others are run down and obviously outdated. Some of the staff doesn't speak English so it's hard to communicate certain things if the particular staff isn't available.but for the most part they are pretty nice people they just are short and to the point. They want their money and you will get what you need . The location isn't that great because it's kinda a run down town anyways.

Although it has been given a bad rep in the past ive only had a great experience here. Rooms are clean and nice. The service was above standards and the price was for what it is great. I couldn't have asked for a better stay than the Polk.

The lady that works front is rude and unhelpful. She screamed at my mother and told her and my 78 year old grandmother to leave because my mom had to walk outside and make a call for the extra 10 dollars she was short.

This motel has seen it's better days. However check in was quick and easy. Paid cash and went to evaluate my room for the night. I crossed The dimly lit parking lot to the buzzing sound of the fluorescent lights 6 the covered sidewalk overall The area was quite. The office staff was friendly and close by if I needed anything during my stay. Clean Towels and good hot water pressure is a must have .small microwave. Flat screen tv. WiFi and some cable channels. No breakfast No coffee. No local maps or brochures offered for fun facts about or up comiaant events on THE SILVER COMET TRAIL which was extremely convenient with easy access right next to

Lady there doesnt speak the english. So be ready for that. Also tiny rooms. Dirty. Old. Needs to be bulldozed down and not built back. Dont get me wrong. I didnt stay there. Nor would I ever. I went there to pick someone up. And got hassled and the lady behind the glass didnt understand a single word I said. So she started just holding up the copies of the ids of the people that were staying there until I saw the one I was picking up. Seems like a good place to shoot a horror or drug movie. Like maybe a hillbilly version of Donnie Brasco. Like maybe Donny-Ray Brasscoe... yeah. Or maybe My Name is Earl.

Had issues with plug-ins, but for the most part, you get what you pay for. The accommodations are general, and the location is distant from restaurants or stores. If you have a vehicle and like your privacy, then you are in deed in the right place.
