It was an absolute delight. Amazing amenities and all kinds of activities around. just great. We also catch a big bass while fishing at the peer, they offer free boat paddle. Life vest. I had an amazing experience. Big space inside the chalets, clean and organized.

I like to mention bring your own grocery’s from home as they offerer kitchen appliances, because the closer supermarket it’s about 30 minutes out, the closet food grocery market it’s a little pricy.

Also, have in mind this is a cabin in the woods, so there will be wildlife there, I didn’t see any insects inside the cabin but there were some webs in some of the rooms. Cabin was spotless clean tho, smelled nice and although I would say it could be described as a little outdated in the appliances, I could not expect more from a cabin in the woods with everything included, it’s not a hotel. Its cute, spacious and cozy.

Jennifer at reception was wonderful she added to the experience being so informative and helpful.

Great place on a beautiful lake, very walkable around the resort! It was quiet while we were there in February, which was nice as a lot of chalets were not rented out. We did not use any of the recreational amenities around the resort as our main purpose was to let our boys fish! We all caught some bluegill from shore and a few were large enough to cook up, so it was a success! We only wished the bathrooms had been cleaner upon our arrival.
Also, for future guests, you will need to bring all food items needed including salt and pepper, and also shampoo and conditioner.

I have been to many resorts, by far this is the Best!! I live 40 mins from Pine mountain club chalets resort and I never knew this place existed. The customer service we received was 💯. Chalets #14 was beautiful. We fished in the pond, we thought we weren't going to catch anything but we caught a monster bass 8-10 lb, some crappie. For this to be our first I was very impressed. I can go on and on. I see other reviews and remember we are in the wilderness. Everything about this place is perfect just think we were only there the weekend. We now have a new family reunion spot.

We have stayed at PMCC three other times over the past several years! We Never stayed in a place such in bad condition. It was Old. There was mold everywhere and several things not working : from outside lights,to inside lights out over the dining table, burner on stove, dishwasher was not even attached, all three beds were so bad that one of our guest slept on the floor! It was filthy everywhere! I do not recommend this place. A beetle crawled on us in the middle of the night and spiders in the bathroom. Our grandchildren couldn’t even putt putt because the greens were covered with twigs degree etc… the flat bottom boat was covered in ants! Porch ceiling coming down, screens coming out on porch and the mold was bad. Floors dirty walls filthy! Seriously, this was our 42 anniversary get away and this cabin was suggested to us because of Its features. I took pictures . Please be advised to not stay in cabin 78!

Great value right near all the attractions. You're in the woods with lots of pine trees so don't be surprised when you find some creepy crawlers. Some of these chalets have been here for a while as well. They have a lot of character and the compound is great for walking. There's also some amenities that the kids will enjoy. I think this is the number one place to stay if you're going to Callaway and the Safari Park and don't want to break the bank.

I want to like this place. It has a lot of potential with the location, pond, pool, tennis courts, etc. However, the accommodations themselves are lacking and have been lacking for quite a long time. This is the second time I have rented here, once about eight years ago.
The cabin we stayed in, #77, was fairly clean and had a good layout. We had a nice screened porch overlooking the pond. The area was very quiet and the people in the office were pleasant and efficient.
Here are the issues we had with our cabin. Note that these issues are very similar to what we had in the cabin (a different cabin) we rented eight years ago.
1. The refrigerator had an ice maker but it wasn't hooked up. Two extremely small ice trays were provided.
2. When we arrived, the temperature in the cabin was 55 degrees. It took six hours for the temperature to get up to 70 degrees.
3. The kitchen lacked a tea pitcher and a cutting board.

Beyond these items, the cabin itself just needs an overhaul. The floors squeaked and were squishy. The kitchen cabinets were the cheapest cabinets made in 1980. In the kitchen, someone had written on the wall in a sharpy "lights under cabinet", but there were no lights under the cabinets. The bathrooms are similar to the kitchen in age and quality. In the master bath, you can't sit straight on the toilet because of the position of the washer and dryer.

I would recommend this place because of the quiet, the nice people in the office, the lovely pond. If you rent though, note that the accommodations are dated and may not have everything you need if you plan to cook.

Jessica, the wedding coordinator, is such a great lady. Calm and collective. Helped plan the wedding when a former employee quit. She was so much help in the planning process as well as the day of. During the day of she was like a second maiden of honor keeping the day going smooth and had everything time out perfectly. The Pine Mountain Club Chalets is the perfect place for a truly ALL INCLUSIVE WEDDING package. They help plan and have wedding planers, catering, photography, and DJ all set up and ready for your big day. The only thing you have to get for your wedding is hair and makeup. Great place! Highly recommend.

My extended family and I have loved going to stay at the Pine Mountain Chalets for over 40 years!!! We went for the first time when I was 12 an now I'm 53 (!). We have stayed in many different chalets over the years and they are all a little different, but keeping in the cozy, welcoming, relaxing vibe. We love walking around the lake, seeing the Christmas lights on the bridge and gazebo. The kids play kickball and football on the playing field. There have been countless games of ping pong in the rec room. It is set in a beautiful, natural area and is right near Calloway Gardens if you plan to visit there. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend as a get away any time of year.
