Brisket was excellent. Best baked beans and best mac-n-cheese I've ever had. Good cornbread too.
If you like cars and rock n roll music, you'll love the atmosphere.

Being from Buffalo food is a staple of our everyday lives. Our drive into Connecticut was rough to say the least. Our hotel underwhelming. I didn't know what to expect when finding a restaurant. We settled on Pig Rig because the atmosphere seemed cool. After a disastrous night this place turned our frowns around. The food was amazing. It was exactly what you want a BBQ joint to be like. The baby back ribs were the best I've ever had. Everything was great. What a great way to start our Connecticut adventure on a great path. Now come here and enjoy your meal today!

The best BBQ in the area. Excellent pulled pork, ribs, burnt ends, brisket and even smoked turkey. Their Cowboy Beans, intensely rich and smoky, are addictive. The folks there are nice too. Eat in or take out. You will be very happy.

Pig Rig was the perfect addition to our Fall Festival Wedding last weekend! Our Guests raved about the food, which we knew would be amazing because it is our favorite BBQ place! I highly recommend them for any event!

The food was barely lukewarm. The Mac and cheese was almost cold and thcik like it had been laying for around quite some time. The baked beans were lukewarm also. The saving grace was the baby back ribs were meaty and the BBQ sauce was very good. Still all in all I would have enjoyed it more if the food was hot.

I have to admit I was unsure how this meal would be, it can be challenging to make a really good mac and cheese, potato salad and anything with sweet potatoes.

They hit all of the spots and I will be back.

The potato salad had just the right dill and sauce. The ribs were tender and the sauce was tasty. The mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful. And I really wish I would have ordered more of the cinnamon sweet potato loaf. That was amazing!

January 2023

I ordered:

Full rack platter (meaty baby backs)

Mac and cheese (creamy and cheesy)

Potato salad (made well, not too saucy and red bliss were cooked perfectly-I did not taste Dill this time around),

Cinnamon sweet potato loaf. (Moist and not too sweet)

I added a side of Collards (finely chopped/flavored well)

and another cinnamon sweet potato loaf.

There is no salt needed to be added to any of these items.
I added black pepper.

The Collards and mac n cheese container look small, however it gave ME three servings.

Their food seems to have gotten better!! It was really good before but I could taste a difference.

My total was just under $53, and that included $11 tip, $6 delivery fee and $3 tax.
I was discounted 30% by GrubHub as a welcome back.

This is a must-try!!

Food was barely warm. Corn bread was dry and cold. no butter offered. Beans tasted like canned beans with spices added. Mac and cheese was thick and cold. Ribs were good but served Luke warm and not hot. Disappointing.
