Great prices, great selection, great location.

Located on Gilbert Road, plenty of free parking options all around, you can sit outside at this location or inside. They play accurate time period music, have a great decor, and is an all around beautiful location. They have great prices as far as ice cream goes, I think I remember 1 scoop is around $4.60 / 2 scoops is $5.90 / 3 scoops $6.90 - close to around those prices. That's pretty good for high quality scoop ice cream, the scoops themselves are medium sized. I tried the sea turtle ice cream I think it was, amazing flavor, great consistency.

Bathroom situation was as expected from a location that serves children, it looked as if children had used it. I let the person working know, she went and took care of it relatively quickly for being the only person working during a busy Friday afternoon.

Critical details like the glass on the front doors seems worn and dirty, also appeared as if one door wasn't working, some of the chairs and tables have some wear and tear about them, the seating situation is workable, they do have a comfortable cushioned bench along the wall and movable chairs/tables.

Great location, will be back in the future.

We enjoy stopping at unique ice cream shops. This one is very cute, and the exterior large cone stationed to greet you is genious, as are the cute cones hanging from the ceiling. I also like the idea of a warm chocolate chip cookie a la mode. What I didn't care for was many of the ice cream bins were nearly empty and looked pretty soupy, making me hesitant to choose those flavors. The other part was 3 employees huddled together talking when said bins needed changing out and dirty tables to boot. The servers were pleasant and polite, ice cream was so-so.

I went on a Sunday afternoon with my boys. The ice cream is good, but the overall atmosphere, specifically outside seems tired. I think it needs a little love to undergo a revamp.

Stopped at Petersen’s for ice cream on another hot day in the East Valley. A cold scoop or two of Petersen’s Ice Cream is a good way to break the heat. The Gilbert, Arizona location at 366 N. Gilbert Rd offers lots of choices to satisfy ice cream lovers. I sat on a stool and watched one of Petersen’s staff members make homemade waffle cones.

Petersen’s Ice Cream Rocks! We were there on a Saturday early so not that many people around we had the place to ourselves, by 8:30 it was filling up fast! This spot in downtown Gilbert is just like mill Ave back in the 90s you see everything from casual dressed people to the ones that look like they are headed to the club. Back to the ice cream, it was delicious!!! I had the cappuccino ice cream with chocolate chunks. Go check it out and sit outside at night and enjoy the atmosphere. Best Ice Cream in Gilbert! The Lemon Ice is fantastic for my fellow non-dairy peeps, but the new "Dole Whip Pineapple" is insane! I also think 100 plus years in the business means they're doing something right!

Petersens ice cream is a beautiful place. The ambiance is really nice. The customer service is pretty good. All of the kids loved their ice cream.

Went in on 9/15/24 at 3:40pm and was greeted by 3 employees slouched on the counter staring at me with no words spoken. Its a lot to ask for good customer service now days, I get it. Surely $20 an hour isn't enough to say "hello, welcome in". Guess I'm asking for a lot.
